Perfect way to experience Icelandic food- even shark!

Great way to experience a few restaurants, learn some history and eat wonderful local food. We had limited time in Reykjavík and it would have been difficult on our own to know where to eat and with food so expensive we may have spent a lot of $ on the wrong spots. . Hilda was a lovely, fabulous, witty guide who shared many great stories of her hometown. She made the tour perfect.

An excellent experience. We have seen extremely beautiful northern lights, including dancing pink lights. Trond is very experienced and took us to three different spots, including a lake, which reflects the lights. Highly recommend this to all travellers looking for northern lights.

We were scheduled to take the Northern lights tour on Wednesday evening but due to the exceptional weather on Tuesday, the tour company allowed us to switch and it was spectacular. Great experience!

The sky lagoon was great! It's closer to Reykjavík so the taxi was less than if we had gone to the blue lagoon. It's not cheap but the experience was great. However it was pretty crowded at 5:30 pm when we went. Also going at that time meant more traffic so our cab fare was almost double the normal rate. But i really enjoyed the hot springs and the 7 step ritual. It was definitely worth the price

We had a great experience...

We had a great experience on this tour. The bus was comfortable and our navigator, Thora(sp), was awesome! She was very funny and knowledgeable. Our bonus stop to feed some Icelandic horses was so great! Finishing the day at the Blue Lagoon was the best final touch.

Worth every dollar!

I added this at the last minute as a fourth tour that day. It cost $166USD and was well worth every dollar. I decided to pay for the private package. It is really more of a semi-private situation and included a non-alcoholic drink. Take your time during the seven-step spa experience because once you move onto the next step you can't go back. Then take all the time you'd like in the lagoon.

The best part of this experience was feeling like you were on another planet. It really felt like you were immersed in Iceland and fully taking it in. The snowmobile was a little tricky to steer but the guides were great and quick to handle any situations. We are glad that we did this excursion!
