This day was an amazing experience, it was so well organized and our guide Mathieu was extremely knowledgeable and kept us interested all day. He was personable and shared so much, answered questions, provided stories about events as well as facts . He was willing to expand on areas our group had the most interest in. He joined us at our table for lunch and that was wonderful, most guides have not in my experience but we found it to be a great personal touch. Our day of exploration of the D day events , beaches and the visit and impact of the American Cemetery was even more than we expected it could be.

We experienced an iota of weather that our troops had to endure with driving winds and torrential rains, however, Stephan made the day interesting and enjoyable with facts and pictures that brought the experience closer to home than what it was. I had 3 uncles and my father that lived this experience and wish that when I returned to Canada I would have had the opportunity to discuss their experience, good or bad. I learned a lot, felt a lot and this tour left a lasting impression on me.

Great tour

Camille was so nice. All the way there he gave us great information about the countryside and the town’s history. He was friendly and very educated on every topic. In case you are wondering the tour guide drives you to MSM gets you in then leaves. You are allowed to see it at your pleasure and then you meet back with the tour guide at a certain time. Putting this in because we wondered about that before we took the tour. You will have plenty of time to see what you need to see and get a great meal. FYI- this tour is not a good for anyone who is out of shape or disabled. There are 300 steps you will have to climb too the top of the abbey. Some of the stairs are steep, and very hard at times to climb. Just remember this before you go..

If you read the book and/or watched the series, and you then stood on the hallowed ground of these ordinary men who took extraordinary measures, it was so moving. Remy shared such memorable stories. I highly recommend this tour.

My family had a wonderful experience on this half‑day tour of Normandy. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the region’s history. He provided rich context at every stop, striking a great balance between storytelling and factual detail without ever feeling rushed. One of the unexpected highlights was a visit to a local cider producer. It wasn’t originally on the itinerary, but when we asked if a cider tasting might be possible, he was happy to accommodate. It ended up being a charming and authentic addition to the day. The tasting was relaxed, delicious, and gave us a real sense of the local culture. Overall, this tour delivered far more than I expected in just a few hours. Thoughtful guiding and meaningful stops made it a memorable experience. Highly recommend.

A great way to experience D Day events on Utah, Gold, and the American cemetery

No other words than AMAZING! A private tour via motorcycle/sidecar made this adventure beyond words can even describe. Touring the countryside less travelled by tourists allowed one to understand the vast landscape covered by ground our troops endured. The detailed explanations of each days events during the invasion was to perfection. As we travelled with two teenagers it even kept them alive!!

Great tour company and excellent English speaking tour guide

Our tour guide, Paschal, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the sites. He gave a great overview of each site as well as some personal stories of some of the fallen and their families. He also had pictures to show us. Most of all, we really appreciate his patience with our 88 year old dad who Is losing his eye sight and has difficulty walking.

An Authentic and Inspiring Experience

This is a wonderful half day tour of Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery, and Point du Hoc. Our guide, Charlie, was very passionate about the war in his words, in his careful and deliberate depictions and sketches of what the Allied soldiers experienced on D day. I felt totally immersed and in the guide of an expert who truly made the experience worthwhile. You will have an opportunity to see the intimidating cliffs the US rangers had to scale to storm the German gun batteries and awe in just how difficult that feat would have been. You will see the American cemetery where the thousands of lives were given over the course of the war to fight tyranny. If you time it right, you will get to see the taps ceremony at 1600 which undoubtedly evokes a sense of admiration and sadness. Finally, seeing the same beach the thousands of Allied soldiers stormed under terrible weather conditions and sheer bad luck really gives you a perspective on what sacrifice truly means. I highly recommend the tour.
