We booked this tour because the cruise ship’s excursion had already sold out, and we were also happy to find that this tour was less expensive. We were very pleased with our decision! Our tour guide, Sam, was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable about Normandy and did a wonderful job explaining the events leading up to, during, and following D-Day. His knowledge and storytelling really brought the history to life and made the experience both educational and memorable. The tour was very well organized and ran right on time. As cruise passengers, we especially appreciated that we returned to the ship with plenty of time before departure, which made the day completely stress-free. VEXPERIO also did a great job with communication. They provided clear instructions on where to meet, and they had staff members outside the terminal to guide us to the bus, making the meeting process easy and straightforward. Overall, this was an excellent tour and a great value. We would highly recommend VEXPERIO to anyone visiting Normandy, especially fellow cruise passengers looking for a well-organized and informative Normandy tour.

Must do!

Wow! What an amazing tour! We took the half day tour because we were driving between Brittany and Paris but we all would have happily done a full day because the tour was fascinating. We drove around in sprinter vans with great ac which was much needed during the heatwave. Our guide was adorable and so knowledgeable - my children loved it! The cemetery was beautiful and I loved visiting Omaha beach.

Fustin Tour Guide is Outstanding

The tour by Normandy Sightseeing Tours was done extremely well. Fustin, our guide, arrived in time and was well prepared for the “English weather” we were going to experience the remainder of the day. His knowledge and side stories all during the day had all four of us completely engagaed. Fustin was also able to get us into a couple of places, including an old farm home with some history we all found fascinating. Fustin’s knowledge of the history provided us a Master Class on D Day. Fantastic DDay tour w/Dylan, extremely knowledgeable guide,

We were picked up from our hotel right on time by Dylan, our guide and Andrea, our driver. Dylan was a wealth of knowledge on the subject of WWII and specifically DDay. My husband is a history buff and Dylan was able to match his level of knowledge. We toured Point Du Hoc, Omaha Beach, Utah, Arromanches and were able to walk through some of the remaining German bunkers. It was absolutely fascinating. Of course, we were both incredibly moved by the tour of the American Cemetery. Dylan even had knowledge of individual soldiers. We really enjoyed our time with Dylan and Andrea and highly recommend this tour.

The invasion and liberation of Normandie in 9 short hours.

Amazing tour. Our guide, Pierre, was extremely knowledgeable and wonderfully pieced together the history of D-Day and much of the impacts WWI-WWII had on France. Pickup and drop off was a breeze, and along the way and at each stop there was always a piece of history or a detail to be pointed out. The weight of history is evident in nearly all the stops. Walking the sands of Omaha and Utah beaches, walking among the bombed our craters of Point Du Hoc, observing the urban battlefield that is Sainte-Mère-Église, and among the rows upon rows of crosses at the hallowed grounds at the American Cemetery. I will not forget this experience for the rest of my days.

A must do tour!

What a wonderful way to see the Normandy “must see” sights! Our tour guide Manon was amazing. She took her time with us and accommodated our mom who walks slow and needs a lot of breaks.
