Wonderful tour

We had a terrific day-long tour with Lucas. We appreciated being in a small group of 8, the pacing was very good, and Lucas shared history, stories, and local culture that made the experience so memorable. The Utah Beach museum was excellent and seeing the American cemetery and hearing taps played was very moving. Lucas was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, personable, and funny.

Very Informative & Well Done

We booked the 8 1/2 hour tour which sounds like a long time period, but was perfectly planned with time scheduled to enjoy lunch and do a bit of touring in the museum. We learned so much!! Our guide was so informative and very well spoken. Saw two different beaches, Omaha and Utah, as well as the American Cemetery with its beautiful gardens and Memorial Wall. Very somber but very moving. A heartbreaking reminder of the courage, sacrifice and bravery that changed the world forever. Lest we forget.

One of the best tours ever!

This tour was one of the best tours I have ever been on. Fauston was incredibly knowledgeable and made us have a true understanding of what occurred in world war 2. We are so grateful that we had him as our guide. This tour was very important as a Canadian to know what our soldiers went though. I would highly recommend that any Canadian experience it.

Great Normandy Experience

Great way to get an overview of Normandy. After a morning train from Paris and great lunch at Le Garde Manger, we met Pascal who did a lovely job showing us Pont du Hoc, the American Cemetery and Omaha Beach. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of this area. Would highly recommend this tour if you only have a short time to visit Normandy and don’t want to bother with renting a car. Easy!

Other than a mixup with the pickup place, the tour was informative and excellent. The tour was only 6 people, which made it more personal. Pauline did her job well , and we enjoyed her coverage of WWII points of interest. I recommend this tour spread throughout the day. This tour is. a must for Americans.

Great tour

This was a great tour. It was amazing to see the sites where these major events in history took place. The cemetery was moving & humbling to see. The guide was very informative. He explained the events at each site. He shared photos of the different sites as they looked during the war. He also told some amazing stories from some of the soldiers that were there that day. I would highly recommend this tour!

Fustin Tour Guide is Outstanding

The tour by Normandy Sightseeing Tours was done extremely well. Fustin, our guide, arrived in time and was well prepared for the “English weather” we were going to experience the remainder of the day. His knowledge and side stories all during the day had all four of us completely engagaed. Fustin was also able to get us into a couple of places, including an old farm home with some history we all found fascinating. Fustin’s knowledge of the history provided us a Master Class on D Day.
