An incredible day!
I truly incredible experience. I don't think anyone can really understand how terrible war is until you stand at the top of the cemetery and look at the graves of almost ten thousand men who gave everything so I did not have to grow up speaking German. Our guide was really wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. He made the entire trip great.

Mathieu is a Fantastic Normandy Tour Guide!
This was an absolutely excellent tour! We truly hope that you can get Mathieu for your guide. His knowledge of DDay is extensive. He readily answered any questions, and engaged in quite a bit of easy conversation on the ride. Very friendly and approachable. If we could give this trip a 10 out of 10, we would!

The northern region of Normandy is one of France’s most emblematic, boasting centuries of history, iconic cuisine, and a rich tapestry of cultural heritage. Visiting the D-Day Landing Beaches and World War II sites rank among the most popular Normandy tours, but guided visits can also add depth when checking off must-sees like the Bayeux Tapestry and the Mont St Michel monastery. Beyond the headline acts, exploring Normandy like a local means embracing the slower pace of life: explore the countryside by e-bike or sidecar, stop for a cider tasting amid the orchards, or stroll the waterfront of Honfleur or Deauville.
