More than 5 stars!
We loved our experience with Rustic Vines! Our tour guide, intern Sam, was knowledgeable, friendly and
helped make our day so fun. With the heatwave, we were the only ones booked for the day so we ended up on a private tour. Sam kept us well-hydrated and even indulged us on a few side quests for ice cream and old church viewings. Zipping through the countryside on bikes is 100% the best way to see all the appellations and appreciate changes in the terrain and see the growing methods up close. We loved each winery tour and tasting and the visit to the wine merchant was incredibly informative. 12/10, would book again and again!

Simply the Best!
This food & wine tour was absolutely amazing! Walking throughout the City picking out our items at the different locations was the best-and a plus that we could go back if wanted! Alex was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about all things Bordeaux history, food and wine. I would highly recommend this activity to any and all ♥️

Highly Recommend!
Highly recommend! We had a wonderful time visiting two wineries and the beautiful town Saint Emilion. We really enjoyed the wine selections, our guide was very informative and enjoyed spending time with her and spending time people on our tour was a lot of fun too, everyone was from different countries.
It would have been nice to have more time in the town, Saint Emilion. Our guid was very efficient with the time we had so the only way to have more time in the town would be to extend the duration time of the trip, start earlier or end later. Thank you!

Mother and Daughter “Girls Gone Wild, Wine Trip!
Yev, our WSET guide was stellar. We spent an amazing day in St Emilion and Pomerol. Yev has a tremendous depth of knowledge about wine an engaging and warm personality which added to the entire experience.
If you want to learn what makes this region and its wines so special don’t hesitate to chose this excursion.

Excellent tour with Galaad
Galaad made our tour of the Bordeaux / Margaux wine region a fantastic experience. She was friendly, humorous, and made our group feel at ease from the very beginning. She clearly has connections with the local wineries and I felt like we got special treatment during our winery tours. As a red wine fan, this made an impression on me! Highly recommend.

Wine country wow!
This was a pleasant day from start to finish. The van was comfortable, clean and modern with great air conditioning. Silvie was very fun and animated as she shared her extensive knowledge about Bordeaux and Saint Emilion. She was open to unscripted conversation about what it's like to be a local and her life experiences adding to the interesting conversation during the 1 hour drive. We tasted a total of 11 wines in three Chateaus and each guide in the individual stops told us something different about wine making and tasting, so it wasn't information overload. We appreciated Silvie having umbrellas for our rainy day, and a back up location for our Picnic lunch which was a beautiful solarium room surrounded by hydrangeas. Thus was a great way to spend our last day in France and we were back to our hotel by 5pm.

Guy was an amazing guide...
Guy was an amazing guide and made the tour feel intimate and personalized, even as he talked about age-old and generalized facts. His knowledge was vast and dynamic, and he tried learning a little bit about each of us (there was only 4 in our group) to accommodate to each of our backgrounds. Excellent experience.

Good guide, good wine.
We enjoyed this wine tour as we had limited time to explore Bordeaux and this half day tour fit our itinerary. The drive is lovely. Our tour guide Alex was funny, friendly and informative. The town of St. Emilion is stunningly beautiful and well worth the visit. The wineries themselves were a bit underwhelming and not the gorgeous Chateau I expecting. However, the wine we tasted was quite good and we do recommend this tour.

Wonderful day of wine and learning
This day-long tour was one of our favorite experiences in SW France! Our guide Chloe was lovely, knowledgeable, and very friendly. We learned SO much. The balance of the day was perfect. Our walk through Saint-Emilion did not feel rushed at all, and our first tasting, at a wine merchant's shop, was a great way to start. The 3 wineries (one in Saint-Emillion, then two chateaus in the Medoc/Left Bank), were each different. Great "picnic lunch", which we ate at a lovely inside table given the rain, was delicious and a perfect accompaniment to the wines.
Highly recommended!

Worth it
Great choice of wineries...St Emilion and Pomerol...which makes it very entertaining and a great opportunity to learn the wines from both regions (all 3 wineries were top level). The Guide Carole was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was timely (start and finish).

We visited Ch. Rol...
We visited Ch. Rol Valentin in St. Emilion and Ch. Ferrand in Pomerol. In addition, due to rain as we arrived in the village of St. Emilion, we had a tasting at a wine merchant with whom Dante, our guide for the day, was familiar. I purchased wine from each visit. Dante was extremely knowledgeable, which added immeasurably to the experience

Perfect Day Trip to St. Emilion and Wine Tasting
Our day was exceptional! Our group was 8 people from all over the world and we all enjoyed each other. Our guide, Hugo, couldn't have been better. His English was perfect, he had a great sense of humor, and he was extremely knowledgeable, both about the area and wine.

With some of the most recognized wine regions on the planet at its doorstep, Bordeaux is a bucket list destination for oenophiles and foodies. Experience it yourself with Bordeaux tours that guide you to Medoc or Saint-Emilion, both regions with centuries-old histories of red wine production. Learn what makes the region's terroir unique and try local wines from merlot or cabernet franc grapes. But even for non-drinkers, there's plenty to enjoy, from the gorgeous vineyard chateaus that warrant a postcard to charcuterie and cheese from local farms.
