Our guide, Christina, was a "5 Star" guide in our books. She clearly had a deep knowledge of the history and architecture of the Alhambra. When asked any question, she quickly responded clearly and with amazing details. It was particularly crowded, and raining lightly throughout the tour, and she deftly navigated us throughout. The grounds are extensive. Bring water and wear comfortable shoes. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and allowed us to take breaks when needed. If you take a taxi to La Alhambra, tell your driver to drop you off at the main entrance where the ticket booths are, if you’re going on a guided tour. Our driver stopped at the taxi area and we had to walk quite a ways back down to the main entrance.

Magic and beauty at the Alhambra

We lucked out and had a group of 4 of us total on the late afternoon tour. Our guide, Alba, was fantastic. Her cheerful demeanor and vivid storytelling skills made it a very fun outing. The Alhambra is quite a marvel - rich history, beautiful gardens with many varieties of flowers. And then the palace itself hold such wonder. All in all a very enjoyable tour.

Our guide for the Alhambra was phenomenal! The other tour guides referred to him as the Maestro as we passed by and they were spot on! His knowledge and love for the Alhambra was evident from the beginning and his personality was that of a gentleman from another time…we had Federico! Ask for his tour and you won’t be disappointed. The other cool thing to do after the tour is to get an Alhambra beer in the Alhambra. Nothings better after a warm 3 hours to relax in one of the Alhambra restaurants and enjoy a cold beverage.

Wonderful tour with Alba and Jesus.

We were picked up at the Motril port by Jesus right where we walked off the ship. His car was immaculate and he brought us each a bottle of water. He's an excellent driver. He took us to Alhambra to meet up with our tour guide Alba. She really knows her history and she knotted the best picture spots. My husband just had knee surgery a few months back and she made sure that we did the least amount of steps and kept checking if we needed a break. They both made this excursion a wonderful day for us.

We had a wonderful experience on the Sierra Nevada mountain tour in Granada with Biutre as our guide! It was such a great way to spend the day and see the beautiful mountains and scenery outside the city. Biutre was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. He also took great care of us while navigating the narrow mountain roads, which made us feel very safe and comfortable throughout the trip. This was an excellent private tour and our tour guide Amine was very knowledgeable and spent just the right amount sharing historical details while also allowing us to explore areas of interest and ask questions at our own pace. He was friendly and professional. We are also so grateful to have been able to get tickets last minute with a tour company that provided exactly the tour advertised, including the Nasrid Palace. I highly recommend this company! Beware of other companies (not this one) that have you book tours and change the itinerary last minute because they are unable to secure tickets to the Nasrid Palace and other ticketed areas of the Alhambra. There are areas you can access for free. Highly recommend this tour agency.

Dress for the weather, make sure you are ready for cold or rain if need be as we had both. Also, we walked from the train station, it is long with lots of uphill so I would take a taxi if going again. Our guide,Richard, was excellent. Very interesting, personable and knowledgeable. We have had guides around the world and he is one of the best. Highly recommended!
