What are people saying about Toledo

Toledo, Rich history and beauty experienced.
The personalization of this tore was outstanding. We had a driver, Wilson, from our condo to Toledo who talked with us about the history of Spain, Madrid, in Toledo. He was very welcoming, professional and kind. Carlos, our personal to work I'd in Toledo has traveled around the world and returned home to his beautiful City of Toledo and shared with us amazing information and history of the City of Toledo. We had the most beautiful views and photos taken based on his knowledge and expertise. This was a spectacular experience. Highly recommend.

Private tour with Sara
Spending a few hours with Sara felt less like a tour and more like catching up with an old friend. The time absolutely flew by.
She’s a true local with a background in history, and it shows. Every stop had something unexpected and interesting.
Since I ended up with a private tour, the whole walk felt personal, relaxed, and perfectly paced. Sara has that rare mix of professionalism and easygoing charm that makes you instantly comfortable.
If you want a guide who’s friendly, insightful, and makes the city come alive, Sara is the one.

Wonderful Experience
This tour was such a delight for our family of four with two teenagers. Toledo, in general, far exceeded our expectations. This tour was a wonderful way to learn about the city and see hidden gems.
The guide was very knowledgeable and kept us in the shade most of the time. Even with the very hot weather, it was enjoyable.

This was a great tour!...
This was a great tour! Our guide Fernando met us at the train and looked after us so well. We especially liked the view of the whole town from the lookout point. It’s a fascinating town, such a rich and interesting history. Nandi even took us right to our restaurant for lunch. A great tour.

Toledo was remarkable with Fernando!
This was our first trip to Toledo and Javier picked us up promptly in Madrid. Our guide, Fernando, was a wealth of knowledge pertaining to art, architecture and history with a sense of humor to add to it! He was both approachable and engaging. We especially enjoyed his interact analysis of El Greco’s The Burial of Count Orgaz. By the end of the day, we had nicknamed him “the major” because he was so popular with the locals!
If you want to dig a little deeper regarding the history Toledo during your visit there, book this tour. You will not be disappointed!

Toledo is a must see destination if you’re in the Madrid area.
Our guide Stephi was phenomenal and the history of the city fascinated us. Before we met our guide, we had to make our way to the main Square from the local train station. There are lots of steps and a lot of elevation to cover to get into town. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning so the weather was still cool enough to make the walk. I would not have wanted to do it later in the day when it was warmer. Plenty of taxis available and buses too to avoid the walk.

Sonia--An Outstanding Tour Guide!
Sonia, our guide, was highly knowledgeable. She had degrees in a variety of areas related to her profession. She shared fascinating information about what we were seeing. In addition, she recommended an excellent store and an amazing restaurant! I highly recommend her!

Ricardo was lively,...
Ricardo was lively, knowledgeable and very engaged on this walking tour. In addition to the typical sites, Ricardo was able to include access to older areas under ground that were fascinating. We were a group of 14 with different ages and interests. Ricardo kept the tour lively. Thanks.

Our tour guide Sonia was...
Our tour guide Sonia was a delight and absolute highlight of our trip! She was able to engage our very diverse family on many different levels. She also was also incredibly, sensitive and able to contextualise the very beautiful and complicated history of Jewish life in Spain in deep and relevant ways. I would recommend this tour in general and Sonia specifically as a priority to any Jewish family visiting Toledo.

Quality tour after frustration due to tour information and lack of clarification on behalf of the agency’s lack of help.
Having a personal guide for three hours was a treat while we toured the historical parts of Toledo. Our guide was very well versed in the history of the ancient city. We learned a lot and found the information and sites to be fascinating .
There were other places to see but we had reached our saturation point( it was a very hot day) and felt satisfied by all we saw and learned. I would have liked to spend more time looking at El Greco’s art, if I could. .
On the day of the tour our guide helped me through an odd situation regarding the actual time for the cathedral tour. I received entry tickets an hour before it was open. I bought them from the actual cathedral office website so the tour agency had nothing to do with the confusion.
Our guide took me to see their ticket seller at the Cathedral and he made sure we could get inside evening even though it was an hour plus later than our timed tour. He checked the validity of the tickets and they were authentic and paid for. Why a time was on the sight is the mystery.
There was frustration on my part with inadequate communications with the service department of the tour agency. I found the examination of the personally planned tour to be vague. It took too long for me to wrap my might around what our tour would include and tried to get in touch with their customer service agent before our trip, but what I heard back was not satisfactory. I was
trying to figure out logistics and our tour choices.
It was the day before the date I heard directly from our guide and she further explained and answered my questions. She was very professional and I appreciated it. It was the customer service department’s lack of communication that caused confusion with conflicting information and did not provide specific answers as I requested on several occasions.
The private tour was more expensive( twice the amount of the group tour and I wanted to make sure we understood what we would see and learn.
In the end I was pleased with the tour but the aggravation before hand could have been eliminated quickly yet it was not.
As it was, the personalized aspect of the tour never happened. I tried to gain an understanding of our offerings so I could actually select what we saw. The guide selected what we did and it turned out fine . A general tour of three areas in the city took up our three hour allotment.

Magical Experience
The weather was not cooperating but the tour company was excellent with communication and was able to reschedule me in a different but agreeable location on a different day. The experience was absolutely magical. The pilot made sure to spin the balloon so that everyone got to see all the important sites. He made sure we got a unique view of the land and the clouds. The landing zone was an absolute picturesque site for the included brunch.

Do not hesitate to book!
Sagry was amazing! We clicked instantly, and it felt like we have been friends forever. She is incredibly passionate anf knowledgable about her city’s history. She was able to make some modifications to our tour based on the walking restrictions of one in attendance. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Toledo for the day!!
