What are people saying about Florence

It’s all in the fine details and nuances…
Thomas was an excellent chef and instructor. We had a delightful group of eight people at our table from around the world. Thomas showed us how to make my new favorite, sage butter ravioli. He taught us many nuances (sfumature) and fine details that differentiate just cooking to really cooking high-end meals with delicate tastes. My Italian American companion who happens to be a very good cook of Italian food, taught by her mother from Avellino, learned quite a bit from Thomas. The techniques will live with us for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Thomas!

Amazing Dinner with Maria
This experience in Maria's home was the best experience we had in Florence! Firstly, she is an incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming woman. We drank wine, made pasta, and cooked multiple courses. This felt authentically Italian and we were honored to be welcomed into her home and share dinner with her and her husband. Great experience! I highly recommend!

Highly recommend
Had a great time. The host was very welcoming and we had a lot of fun with him. Cooking was made easy. We went with a 1 year old and everyone were very accommodating. No worries. I would highly recommend especially if traveling with children. Fun and not too serious.

Cooking with Chef Rafael Was Awesome!
Best thing we attended. So much fun. Made friends with other people at the table and we all went out afterwards. The Chef, Rafael, was the absolute best. He made the class fun. Learned so much in such a short time. Definitely recommend anyone visiting Florence go to the cooking class!!!!

The “Cradle of the Renaissance” is also the birthplace of one of Italy’s most beloved cuisines, so why not learn how to prepare classic dishes in a city kitchen or Tuscan farm at a Florence cooking class? Roll up your sleeves and prepare fresh pasta, authentic pizza, creamy gelato, and other crowd-pleasers. Opt for one-on-one private instruction or meet other aspiring cooks with a small-group class; you can even shop at a Florentine market like a local. Celebrate your new kitchen skills with a final tasting or meal—often served with a glass of local wine for an authentic Tuscan experience.
