Very interesting and worthwhile tour

The guide provided very helpful insight with good humor. For something we are very interested in, the length of time at both locations was just right. Without the guided tour, we would have had to spend twice the amount of time to effectively see the same amount. Note: the instructions in Viator mentioned having to redeem the voucher at a different location than the meeting location, but that was not correct (you redeem them at the meeting location).

This was such a great experience. It’s a HUGE city and this tour gives you the 2 hour brief highlights (PERFECT for those who lose interest or grow tired beyond a few hours). You get the history and the fun, but since the city is huge, it would be so hard to navigate and enjoy alone. Do this trip!! And our guide, I believe her name was Marilyn & I apologize if I’m incorrect, was so fun and great at her job!! Loved it

Great Tour Option to Viewing Pompeii

Tour guide was super knowledgeable about the history and showed us many different places within the park! After the 2 hour tour, you are able to stay in the park and explore more as you wish. There is so much to see you could spend hours in this park! It’s a bit of a maze to find your way out of the park at the end though. Directions to meeting point are very clear.

This tour was awesome. Our driver was Gianluca and he made the whole trip. He was so nice and helpful. He was domaines things during the drive. We got to see the Amalfi coast and then Pompeii. He also hooked us up with a tour guide in Pompeii who was amazing. He was so funny, knowledgeable and took us to places away from the crowds. He also took pics of our group along the way. This was the best tour of our trip. Highly recommended. The downside was I did not get my Viator rewards with this booking. Although this had nothing to do with Gianluca or the Pompeii guide.

We did Pompeii and the Vesuvius hike. Antonio was a perfect guide through Pompeii. I only wish we had more time! Combining the two activities wasn't ideal for us because we would have liked more time to walk around on our own. The Vesuvius hike was well worth it and a good workout. The views were amazing.

Great experience with Jack and Numo as our drivers / guides. Both guys were fantastic and helped make the day very memorable. The breakfast and lunch were great. The guided tour with Erica to the archeological site in Pompei was very interesting and informative. The drive along the Sorrento coastline was beautiful,, and a few stops along the way for great photos. One can’t go wrong paying a little bit more for a memorable tour like this one. My first booking with aviator but definitely not my last. Eliana Sandretti was our guide. A Manager at Pompeii and archeologist. I’ve been to 30 countries and had several dozen tours but no guide has been as knowledgeable and been so direct with answers. She seemed interested in giving us the information we wanted to hear and since Pompeii is so incredible and we only had three hours she knew we didn’t have time for personal anecdotes (perfectly ok for other tours). And she went over the time and walked us to our train and then shared some personal history when we asked questions. I can’t remember a more informed and generous guide with a nicer disposition than Eliana.
