What are people saying about Florence

I’m generally skeptical...
I’m generally skeptical of this kind of experience, but this class was excellent. Our teacher was Rafa and it was clear he has a passion for his art. I left feeling like I could actually make the pasta and tiramisu at home. I highly recommend this experience.

Excellent class, highly recommend!
Both my husband and I had a fantastic time at this class. It was a perfect change of pace from the continuous stretch of musuems and monuments and gave us the chance to relax. We both learned a lot and got to enjoy some delicious pasta. Chef Davide was equal parts instructional and hilarious and the time flew by. I would highly recommend this class to everyone.

Highly recommend
Had a great time. The host was very welcoming and we had a lot of fun with him. Cooking was made easy. We went with a 1 year old and everyone were very accommodating. No worries. I would highly recommend especially if traveling with children. Fun and not too serious.

Fantastic dinner in wonderful farmhouse
We had a wonderful experience at Maria Cristina’s cooking class at her beautiful farmhouse in Florence, Italy! The evening was truly special, combining delicious food, wonderful wine, and warm hospitality. We enjoyed beef, handmade pasta, delicious pasta sauce, and tiramisu, all prepared with so much care and absolutely delicious. Cristina and her husband were exceptional hosts who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their beautiful farmhouse was a highlight in itself, offering a unique and authentic glimpse into Italian country life and how locals live. This was so much more than a cooking class—it was a memorable cultural experience filled with great food, wine, and genuine Italian hospitality. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Florence who wants to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine and a truly special evening!

Opt for one-on-one private instruction or meet other aspiring cooks with a small-group class; you can even shop at a Florentine market like a local.
