Steph was great. She was extremely knowledgeable and we loved her use of various accents as she recounted historical stories about Scotland, Edinburgh and the castle. Would highly recommend this tour because we learned so much more about Scottish history and interesting stories in general than we would have by just walking through the castle by ourselves. She also pointed out places of interest before we did our personal walk-throughs which helped us figure out which queues we wanted to join and what we wanted to see. Would do this tour again :)

I had the most amazing...

I had the most amazing time on this tour, greatly thanks to our amazing tour guide Ian, he was super funny and had heaps of facts on everything and was consistently checking everyone was having a good time. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, from the drive through the highlands, to the lake, to Glencoe, my phone was out all day getting pictures of the stunning views. The only bad thing I have to say about the day was the buses air conditioning stopped working for a bit on the way home and it was super hot, Ian was very apologetic but everyone knew it wasn’t his fault and he let us stop earlier at a cafe and ice cream stop to get more water and some food etc. very grateful for that!

So happy that we booked this tour to the Scottish Highlands! Stevie B navigated us safely on our journey while giving us great information along the way. His humor and kind manner made what could have been a very long day a truly wonderful experience for our family. We did not have many days in Edinburgh but sacrificing one city day was well worth it. The Highlands are so beautiful-don’t miss it! If you are prone to car sickness-don’t forget the Dramamine as you are on the bus for a long time.

Very good, but don’t expect a steam engine!

Tom was a very knowledgeable and funny driver. Due to accidents, we had to avoid certain areas and roads and even missed out on one of our stops. But Tom quickly redirected us somewhere else and we still had a good time. Great job! FYI, if you are looking for a steam engine for the Harry Potter train, they had to switch to a diesel engine.
