What are people saying about Vienna

Michael brings the city of Vienna to life
This is a must do early in your trip to Vienna, it gives a great geographical and historical grounding of the city which we found really helpful for everything else we did during our time in Vienna.
It was also very reasonably priced for the amount of time and quality information Michael shared with us in a really engaging manner. He paced his walking and talking really well. We were never too rushed or finding things dragging. There was ample time to take photos of anything that interested you.
We got ear pieces to help us hear all that he was saying throughout the two hours. This worked really well particularly as we were part of a big group of about 36 people.
Michael also had a good sense of humour which we appreciated and he was a great storyteller-the time flew in!
Couldn't recommend the tour and him highly enough!!

Excellent tour; so glad we did it!
The tour was excellent—well worth the money. Our guide Gabby was amazing. She is a Vienna native and knew lots of facts about Vienna and about the palace that you won’t find in a guidebook. She was kind and thoughtful about pointing out restrooms, answering questions, and even took pictures for any travelers who wanted pictures together.

Alexander - Exception Guide to Schönbrunn Palace
If you’re considering a visit to Schönbrunn Palace, do yourself a favor and book the skip-the-line tour with Alexander—it was easily one of the highlights of our time in Vienna.
Alexander is an exceptional guide. His deep knowledge is impressive, but what truly sets him apart is his storytelling. He doesn’t just recite dates and facts—he brings the history to life through vivid, personal stories that make the people who once lived in the palace feel real and relatable. You walk away not only having seen a beautiful imperial residence, but actually understanding the personalities, intrigue, and legacy behind it.
The skip-the-line access was also invaluable, saving us a significant amount of time and allowing us to fully enjoy the experience without the stress of crowds.
We learned so much and enjoyed every minute. We would highly recommend Alexander and this tour to anyone wanting a richer, more engaging visit to Schönbrunn Palace.

Amazing Vienna Experience
This was such a great experience! I have done multiple tours in many cities and this has been my favorite. Maria was the best guide. You could see the passion she has for the city and the food. We loved the experience of using multiple means of public transportation. It was great to figure it out with Maria there to help. The food was all excellent, but our favorite was Thomas and his family owned stand, delicious and a great story teller.

Bring a healthy appetite and all of your questions!
My husband and I both enjoyed the tour, the food, and getting to know a little about Vienna. We purposely booked this tour around dinner time on the day after we arrived in the city, as we knew the city was likely to be pretty overwhelming those first two days and we'd struggle in identifying a good spot for dinner among all of the options. As it turned out, we found some amazing options in this tour!
The variety of food was impressive, from traditional pretzels from one of the oldest bakeries in the city to different kinds of sausage obtained from a street kiosk (amazing - such a great surprise) to drinks and goulash (my husband's new favorite!) in a small neighborhood place in the city to cake and coffee at the legendary Cafe Mozart near the Opera House. The quality of food and ingredients was amazing and the volume of food was slightly overwhelming (but such a good buy!)
Our tour was pretty small, as we arrived in the city during a lull in tourist activity just before the Vienna City Marathon, so we go the benefit of really personal service. Lauren was such a great guide, as she offered up useful information on the city and even suggested a better/cheaper way for us to get to Bratislava, where we were going to book a tour for the very next day. We are so grateful for her expertise and guidance. We left the tour with a lot of recommendations for happy eating and additional things to see and do.

So informative and interesting
This was such an informative tour! Maria our tour guide was so friendly and knew so much about the beautiful city of Vienna! She told us so much about the history of the city, taking us to all the interesting places and her timing was absolutely perfect at the Spanish horses school as they walked them out right in front of us! A great start to our holiday, I would definitely recommend this tour.

A must walking tour!
Our guide Nicoletta was fantastic! Very knowledgeable with a wicket humore. It was our first time visiting Vienna and walking around the town with her definitely enriched our visit! Even if you are not the first timer but never explore the city thoroughly, I would highly recommend it. 3 hrs was about the right length, during which we took about 20min break at a Cristmas market right at the immaculate "Rathaus" (city hall) that made the tour even more special. Thank you Nicoletta, the Victory! 😄

Great tour guide and a great tour. There was only about 4 of us on the tour and the guide took us around to all the places worth seeing. Salzburg is an amazing city. It’s my third time here and I have always had a great time. This was a really nice tour and the guide was good. We should have had more time in the village where we first stopped.

Biking around town
It was a five star experience. We love bike tours because not only do they take you to the iconic historic sites, but they take you out of the city into the suburbs so that you see parks, and other places of interest. Our guide was extremely informative and was able to tell us a history behind the buildings as well as taking us through Parks And nature. Thank you

Very good value for money...
Very good value for money as you get a free shot with every drink you purchase. There weren’t many drinking games but it was still an enjoyable night as we were able to go to clubs for free and meet people from around the world. Dick Mack’s had a really good atmosphere and cheap drinks (we would love to go back) but the drinks that the second bar were much more expensive.

Lovely evening, just enough classical music.
A lovely experience in a beautiful room. The musicians were so talented and personable. There is an intermission where drinks are available to purchase with cash in the adjacent courtyard. It is a very small room and literally not one more chair can be squeezed in so, plan accordingly.

Don't hesitate! Do this tour!
We booked a group tour, but wound up being the only ones on our tour. It was great! Our guide was personable and knowledgeable! We loved all the history and fun stories he told along the way. I can't wait to come back to Vienna, we truly got to learn about the wonderful parts of Vienna.

Walking is the best way to explore the pedestrian-friendly capital of Austria. Vienna walking tours are available for a variety of time frames and interests. You can spend as little as an hour with a guide who will point out not only key sightseeing highlights but also favorite restaurants and shops. Or choose a longer excursion that delves into the city’s cuisine, history, music, or even haunted locales. There are also private walking tours geared toward families and itineraries that cover the world-famous Christmas markets.
