What are people saying about Ubud

Sensory journey of rice terraces, sacred forests and vibrant artisan villages
This is a brilliant way of exploring Ubud, customising it as you go. Our guide, Wayan Suyasa, was excellent. He was very helpful and informative, acting as a cultural bridge, sharing the hidden meanings behind Balinese rituals, temple architecture and traditions. I would highly recommend it as a way of getting to know the area and booking it privately gives the additional advantage of flexibility. Make sure that you have some Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) with you.

Breathtaking View!
The hike was incredible but definitely prepare for some chilly weather at the top of the mountain. Also highly recommend hiking shoes/boots. My boyfriend and I hike a ton normally so I’d say it’s a moderate to hard hike for experienced hikers. The view at the top was amazing, pictures don’t do it justice. They also provide a breakfast and eggs they cook with the volcanic steam! Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. He made the hike easier with his expertise of the mountain.

Enawan did an amazing job...
Enawan did an amazing job of showing us around Bali and gave us a really unique experience! He also offered to take us to a coffee plantation to do a coffee and tea tasting, and also bought us some local fruit to try. I would definitely recommend booking this tour to see all parts of the island!

Must do!
Our cooking class with Tumang Bali Cooking Class was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment Wayan, the owner, picked us up near Ubud Palace, he made us feel like family. We were welcomed with delicious snacks and drinks upon arrival, setting the tone for a warm and authentic experience. Not only did we learn how to prepare nine delicious Balinese dishes, but we also gained a deeper appreciation for Balinese culture. One of the most memorable parts was learning how to make the beautiful traditional offerings and understanding their significance in daily life. It was amazing to see that many of the ingredients we used came directly from Wayan’s farm. Walking through the property and learning about the fresh herbs, spices, and produce added a special touch that you simply won't find in most cooking classes. Wayan made the entire experience both fun and educational, sharing stories, cultural insights, and plenty of laughs along the way. By the end of the class, we felt like we had learned so much more than just cooking. We have taken a cooking class in nearly every country we have visited, and this one stands out by a big margin. We would absolutely take this class again and will be recommending it to all of our friends. If you're looking for an authentic, hands-on, and memorable experience in Bali, Tumang Bali Cooking Class is a must!
