Certified open water divers can dive to depths of 60 feet (18 meters) without an instructor close at hand. Qualify with Scuba Schools International (SSI) over two days, among the dreamy coral and dramatic shipwreck of Tulamben. You’ll combine theory lessons in the classroom and training drills in shallow water with at least four ocean dives and a final exam.
