The driver and the guide were both very friendly and the food was delicious. We went in March and the river was exciting enough but not too wild. Definitely worth the trip even for the beautiful views along the river. I had a recommend this trip.

Great start to the day with on time, and comfy pickup from our hotel in nusa dua. Jaya our driver was friendly and courteous. The drive out to the centre was an hour winding through the town. We were fitted with safety gear and met our guides - Wari and Witra! Friendly guys. The trip down the river was beautiful…lush forest, birds, hidden villas, gentle rapids and a few chances to jump into the river floating with the current. Spectacular waterfalls, a chance to stand under the biggest! You dont need any cash for the stops along the way (coconuts, bintang, soft drinks) as they keep a tab for you. You pay at the end, and remember to tip the guides. Lunch was simple and local. Overall it was a wonderful day. Highly recommend Wayan and his team!

Fun day but use a different tour company

There are so many options for rafting in Ubud. I would book with a different company. Private driver (Coman) was timely and professional in picking us up at our hotel and driving us to the start. The professionalism ended there. Disorganized and difficultly with English pretty much across the board with staff. The river itself is full of garbage along the sides pretty much the whole trip. Otherwise the scenery is beautiful. A deadly poisonous snake dropped from a tree in the water just ahead of us early on. Very frightening yet our guide Wayan kept laughing about it and making fun of us for being frightened. Wayan seemed high honestly or else just very giggly. He was engaging in his own language with the other guides but barely spoke to us at all until he aggressively insisted we “give him something” at the end of the trip. No directions to the included lunch or showers. Just “be sure you give me something “. He then hawked over us until we left. As Americans we are quite accustomed to tipping and always do absent something egregious. We viewed Wayans aggressive and persistent demand for cash to be paid egregious especially on top of his lack of communication with us throughout the rest of the day. We left without lunch and showers. We had fun but in spite of Bali Ari tours.

Regarding the jungle i think every jungle have snacs and other animal but we never when the snacs will dropping from the three we hope no one get a bit and never so far .

Had an amazing time rafting on the Ayung River! The rapids were exciting but safe — perfect for beginners. The scenery was stunning: lush jungle, waterfalls, and even cliff carvings. Our guide was fun and made us feel very safe. Highly recommend if you're in Ubud! We changed our dates last minute as my daughter wasn't well, but they were very accommodating

Picked up from hotel dropped off at place to pick up safety gear change into clothes for getting wet in.Changing rooms with shower and locker with key to keep your stuff. Then into open top jeep taken to start off point close by. Stopped halfway rafting for a rest and drink if needed. Rafting finished at changing rooms building ,quick shower something to eat and dropped back at hotel.Don’t forget to take waterproof camera.

A fun filled afternoon making friends from around the world was our rafting experience. The guides were fun, well trained and ensured everyone was comfortable through the entire experience. This adventure was perfect for first time rafters, I would venture to say experienced rafters would have enjoyed it just as much.

Ayung River fun with Wayan and Lili

If you are in Ubud and have couple of hours to spare go for Ayung River rafting. It is easy, relaxing and well organized. We were contacted very soon after booking and given the details of next morning pick up from our hotel. This is how we met Wayan - our good spirit in Bali. Wherever we moved later on in Bali Wayan was with us, helping us to move from Ubud to Munduk and from Munduk to Nusa Dua. Lots of discussion in the car, tens of questions and answers about Bali and its culture and habits - all explained by Wayan. We did our rafting with Lili - good rafting leader, with good sense of humor and fun personality. After the rafting we had our quick (included in the price) lunch and drinks and Wayan took us back to the hotel. Good fun :)
