Top Ubud Day Trips

Our cooking class with Tumang Bali Cooking Class was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment Wayan, the owner, picked us up near Ubud Palace, he made us feel like family. We were welcomed with delicious snacks and drinks upon arrival, setting the tone for a warm and authentic experience. Not only did we learn how to prepare nine delicious Balinese dishes, but we also gained a deeper appreciation for Balinese culture. One of the most memorable parts was learning how to make the beautiful traditional offerings and understanding their significance in daily life. It was amazing to see that many of the ingredients we used came directly from Wayan’s farm. Walking through the property and learning about the fresh herbs, spices, and produce added a special touch that you simply won't find in most cooking classes. Wayan made the entire experience both fun and educational, sharing stories, cultural insights, and plenty of laughs along the way. By the end of the class, we felt like we had learned so much more than just cooking. We have taken a cooking class in nearly every country we have visited, and this one stands out by a big margin. We would absolutely take this class again and will be recommending it to all of our friends. If you're looking for an authentic, hands-on, and memorable experience in Bali, Tumang Bali Cooking Class is a must!

Highly recommended! We had an amazing day exploring Ubud. Visiting the beautiful waterfall, the stunning rice terraces, the Monkey Forest, the coffee plantation, and the talented wood carvers was an unforgettable experience. Every stop was unique and gave us a wonderful glimpse into Bali's natural beauty, culture, and craftsmanship. Our guide, Ardy was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome throughout the day. This was definitely one of the highlights of our Bali holiday!

The experience was well worth it. My tour guide Chiki was amazing, I’m a female solo traveler and he made me so comfortable. He shared so many interesting facts about Bali and made sure I was having a good time. Next time I’m in Bali I’m definitely requesting Chiki to take me around the city. We arrived to the Bali swing and koi pond early so we missed a lot of queues this was also a plus!!!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience! We did the snorkeling and waterfalls. The staff were super organized, friendly, and fun!!! Our driver, Adi, picked us up from our hotel, and immediately we knew we were going to have a good time because of his charisma and fun personality. During snorkeling, we saw a ton of fish, a turtle, and a stingray! Then after snorkeling Adi was kind enough to take us to do coffee tasting at the famous local plantation (which was not a part of the itinerary)!!! We went to the waterfall and took some pics (plan to wait 1 hour in line if it’s busy). He also took us to the best Babi guling (roasted pork) place after waterfall before taking us home. I highly recommend this company!!!

This was one of the coolest things we did all trip! I will say that the hike is no joke. Basically straight uphill for about 2 miles to reach the top. Our guide was amazing and so helpful! She took so many pictures for us and let us stop for breaks when needed. The views were stunning at sunrise and totally worth the hefty hike. Would recommend shoes with serious grip (my partner slipped and scrapped her arm) and a sweatshirt/jacket for the top of the mountain as it gets very cold up there. They do let you rent jackets or blankets (which we did) for a small fee. Overall, it was a great experience!

I got the ten hour private tour with English speaker and requested pick up from our Airbnb in Ubud to drop off at our hotel in Nusa Dua with stops along the way. Putu was our driver and had great suggestions to fill in the gaps of we didn't see yet. Beautiful waterfalls with no crowds (we started at 7am) and we went all the way to Uluwatu temple. One thing I wish the tour company would do is contact us earlier to confirm details. I was getting anxiety and sent a message to the company to confirm my pick up and travel plans at 5pm the day before since I had not heard from anyone and just received "ok" as the response.

Driver Ary was fantastic—friendly, professional, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. He took us to all the popular sites in Ubud, each of which we thoroughly enjoyed, and we had a delicious lunch along the way. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I would highly recommend this tour

As described. Pick up from Kuta hotel was organised. Lunch provided at drop off point. Drive was a while but took in scenery and driver knowledgeable about area. Good streamlined snorkeling experience with all gear and was safe and helpful. Driven back to Kuta hotel. Great value for money. Don’t forget sunscreen and towel and water.
