Perfect day
We had such a great time! Our driver and guide, Maxi, was friendly, knowledgeable, and even funny! The day went so smoothly, he had great suggestions for extras along the way (coffee, lunch) and he made sure we were comfortable and well cared for. Sunrise at Brobudiur was lovely. Even though our day was a little cloudy (still the end of rainy season), we still saw the beauty of the light coming up and through the temple, and you certainly beat the heat going at that time of day. We had breakfast waiting for us there which was delicious. The jeep ride was fun and exciting, a great change from the temples and our driver was great. He was from the village that was destroyed by the eruption in 2010, so he had a lot of personal knowledge of the area. He pointed out animals along the way that we wouldn’t have spotted on our own and made it fun. We couldn’t see the volcano well due to the clouds, but it was a great day nonetheless. Prambanan was the last stop and Maxi took us around and gave us a full guide of the temple. We enjoyed our day and hope to one day be back! It’s a lovely area with exceptionally kind people.

A sensory delight!
Truly a sensory delight! Arma was a fantastic trainer and the "home from home" setting helped to create a perfectly relaxed experience. The food was delicious, the recipes surprisingly straightforward and it was a pleasure to chat with Arma as we cooked and ate. A great way to learn more about Indonesian culture and cuisine.

Jakata Half Day Tour
This tour was the perfect way to get a taste of Jakarta in a short amount of time. Our guide, Enok, was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience engaging and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a quick yet insightful introduction to the city.

Great Day in Yogyakarta with Ekko
Amazing experience getting to climb the Borobudur temple. Ekko was a great guide. We really enjoyed the morning at the temple, both learning about the temple but also getting to explore it. It was really warm, so we really appreciated that Ekko was okay with us skipping the second temple and taking us to a section of Yogyakarta with art and craft stores, where we enjoyed shopping for local crafts.

Highly recommend walking / eating experience
An excellent evening - despite the rain. Kalika was an excellent guide allowing us to experience a range of local food and let us know about the area and customs where we walked. She thought of everything with hand sanitizer, tissues, our own plastic spoon. It was really informative and very filling

Temple Tour is Top Notch
Both temples were incredible. The early morning climb up Borobudur was worth it even with overcast skies. The sense of peace and sound of the breeze and birds. — only about 20 people up there with you. You can take such nice pictures without all the people around. Our Borobudur guide, Alvin, had so much information for the group. He really, really added to the whole experience. My Viator driver, Matt, was super organized and right on time. He was very patient with all my questions. As always, I’m impressed with other cultures’ command of the English language. I sadly only know English. Again, such friendly, kind people — truly enjoyable experience.

Wonderful Experience
It's wonderful. The tour operator communicated with via WhatsApp before I even embarked on my journey. My driver/tour guide, Utama picked me up promptly at my hotel. He was friendly and we had a nice conversation along the way. At my request, he made two extra stops. Im truly enjoy this tour.

Fantastic Excursion!
Excellent value for the money. Three activities in one: Jomblang Cave, Pindul Cave, and Oya River.
The first entails being lowered by ropes/harness down into a 60 meter deep sinkhole, walking 300 meters through a horizontal cave, to another cave where, if it is sunny outside and the time of day is right, beams of sunlight stream through an opening in the top of the cave. We were lucky, as conditions were near perfect when we arrived.
Two considerations for those booking this tour: the bottom of the cave is full of thick mud, which is very slippery. Although guests wear rubber boots, some areas of the walking path are very treacherous. The mud sticks to footwear, to the point where it interferes with the ability to lift one’s boots from the mud, interfering with one’s balance. **Highly recommended to bring a flashlight or phone light to illuminate the walking path, which is otherwise difficult to see in places, making it even more hazardous.**
2) The second entails floating on an inner tube, starting in a pond, through a cave, and ending up outside again at a swimming hole. The cave contains interesting geological formations, as well as numerous colonies of small bats. The water temperature is very warm. At the swimming pool there is an elevated platform where you can jump off into the water if you wish.
3) The third entails riding a tube down a small river, first down a small area of rapids, followed by slow moving water. Very relaxing. Interesting rock formations along the sides of the river, caused by water erosion, some small waterfalls, and areas where the rock walls are covered in ferns and other interesting plant life.
Our guide was Ryan, who was excellent. Although not part of the tour, after the caving/tubing portion, he took us to a place where Kopi Luwak is made: coffee from the civet cat, and the most expensive coffee in the world. We did a tour of the facility, to understand the production process, then given opportunity to sample the coffee. A very enjoyable optional part added to our tour. Thank you Ryan!
Overall, an excellent full day excursion, which I cannot recommend enough!

Excellent guide, weather is unpredictable
My guide Atok was outstanding! He made the day go smoothly even though the weather did not. He made sure I had ample time for naps in between sites given our 3am departure. There were clouds at Borobudur so not much sunrise visible, but still a great option to get moody atmospheric photos in the twilight and to climb when it is not yet hot. Great breakfast and leisurely time. Mt Merapi was also hidden by clouds but we saw the local sites. Kind of a weird place - a solemn museum and then an amusement park and people taking cheeky photos at a place where people died in the eruption. At Prambanan, Atok guided me around the main temple and took several great photos and videos. The sun was finally out and the rocks are so hot it feels like a furnace. He let me explore on my own after that and the eventual rain was a relief. Don’t miss Sewu at the far end of the complex - it is very cool. Word of caution - if you don’t catch the shuttle at the start they won’t let you ride it on the way back. Just be prepared because the walk back definitely feels longer. Got back to the hotel around 3pm. Very long day but well worth it!

We booked this tour as we...
We booked this tour as we wanted to have a stress-free visit of the two main temples and the volcano and I must say this was a great tour! The organization was perfect and everything in the day went smoothly, we did not have to worry about anything apart from enjoying the activities. Our driver was Fajar and we had a really fun time together! He was really friendly and we spoke about Indonesian culture, knowledge and life in general, great atmosphere to make the rides pass by faster! Fajar was perfectly on time and made sure all was clear for us at the temples, accompanying us to the temple guides and getting us in practical meet-up points. He also brought several water bottles and was open to make various stops if we needed to. We really had a great time. Highly recommended!!

The driver for the day,...
The driver for the day, Aguz, was great and allowed a smooth and comfortable journey between the two temples. Everything was organised, such as the tours and the driver getting us water, so was very easy to follow along. Would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting the two temples in one day (even though it is quite tiring!)

Amazing trip! The rice...
Amazing trip! The rice terraces were absolutely stunning, and the hidden waterfall makes impression. Selogriyo Temple has such a peaceful vibe, and the whole trek was the perfect mix of adventure and chill. Our guide Sigit was super friendly with extensive knowledge. Great escape from the crowded city — totally worth it!
