Toledo travel full of history and testing legs

I would safely say that we had the best two tour guides during the day. They were knowledgeable and humorous as well. Toledo has many small lanes and by lanes full of history and culture, so ensure that you are geared to walk. Wear comfortable shoes and if you re travelling in Nov, then wear warm clothing. A jacket is a must.

Highly informative tour

Jesus was very informative and took his time to explain things, especially during the first section - “Casco Histórico de Toledo, where we were lucky enough to have a full English tour, however the Catedral Primada tour which was bi lingual was delivered equally as well. After a two hour break for lunch we met up with Elias for the final part of the tour. Elias’s delivery wasn’t quite as good as Jesus as he spoke a lot faster however he was still informative and answered our questions implacably. It’s a very long day to do the full complete Toledo tour and I think if I had my time again I would end after the Cathedral tour as it is a long wait until the last part and it makes the day very long but it was still very good and both guides were excellent. I would recommend

Ended 2 hours early

The voucher for the private tour said it was a 6 hr tour. The guide for some reason ended the tour after 4 hours and I couldn’t convince her or the operator that it was supposed to last longer. I coordinated with the tour operator ahead of time to know what times to book trains from and back to Madrid the day of the tour and they insisted we return on the 6pm train. So that’s what I booked. But the private tour (which started at 10am) ended abruptly at 2pm (was supposed to go to 4pm). We went to the train station and the 4pm train was sold out. We were able to change to the 5pm train at least, but the whole thing was really frustrating. I feel I should be refunded some of what I paid given the tour length was 1/3 shorter than advertised and confirmed via the voucher.

A confused mess

This was supposed to be an English speaking tour. The first group we had, were half spanish speakers so the guide had to repeat everything twice. Then we got passed off to another guide whose accented English was very hard to understand. Then, we got dropped from the cathedral tour because the original guide "forgot" to tell us where and when to meet.

If you read the description of the tour you will see that it is indicated that the tour can be bilingual. Therefore, from our side the information is clear. Regarding the second part of your comment, I apologise, and we will talk to the guides to find out what happened so that it doesn't happen again. Toledo could have been experienced in half the amount of time.

It would have been a better experience had our guide not raced through the information in heavily accented English. Missed at least half of her explanations. The day was entirely too long. Met the bus at 8:20 and didn’t arrive home until 5

Delfi y Vane fueron super excelente guias! muy atentas al detalle y a explicar todo lo relacionado con el tour, super amigables y preocupadas por cualquier duda que tuvieramos. El tour era pequeño por lo que se disfruto aun mas, en todos los lugares visitados se explicaba a detalle todo el contexto. El tour implica caminar bastante por loq ue se recomienda calzado comodo, sin duda recomendaria el tour. Ademas, al final del tour Delfi y Vane te dan recomiendaciones de donde comer y donde comprar souvernis, fue algo muy especial.
