Japan is famous for its “kawaii” (cute) culture and creative bento boxes, and this hands-on class lets you make your own “kyaraben” (character lunch box) from scratch. Learn special techniques to shape rice into anime-inspired designs and craft adorable edible art. It’s fun, photo-worthy, and you can enjoy everything you make at the end.

The event will be held at つきまさ(Tsukimasa), a Japanese tea store in Shimokitazawa that has been in business for 46 years. The instructor, who has 20 years of experience as an instructor and is well versed in the history, production methods, and enjoyment of Japanese tea, will demonstrate how to make matcha and sencha green tea. In traditional Asakusa with its old town atmosphere and friendly instructors and interpreters, you will learn a lot about Japanese culture and the new Japanese food ''Vegetable Temari Sushi'', how to make ''Koji Miso Soup'', and how to live healthily. Only plant-based ingredients will be used, and organic vegetables from local farmers and organic seasonings.

Learn how to make traditional and cute decorative sushi rolls under the guidance of a professional chef. You can choose one of two flower patterns to make. It's a private lesson. Vegetarian menus are also available. Miso soup is also included, so please enjoy it.

It is a quiet residential area around Toshimaen Station where the Harry Potter interactive facility “Warner Boozers Studio Tour Tokyo” is located. Using rice flour cake as a base, you can decorate the cake with lively flowers (made with anko (bean paste) squeezing). You can enjoy the experience of making a cake that will bring joy to the recipient. In the trial lesson, we will explain the process in an easy-to-understand way for those who are new to flower squeezing. The rice flour cake (sorgi) for the base will be prepared in advance by the instructor. After coloring the red bean paste with the color of your choice, you will squeeze ranunculus, ranunculus buds, and kodemari flowers. You will learn the basic posture, tools, materials, and colors of flower pressing. You will be able to take home a cake box. This popular class has been attended by a total of 750 people.
