One of the highlights on my trip to Bangkok

If you’re looking for an authentic experience in Bangkok, don’t miss House of Taste Cooking School. Our instructor, Bense, was outstanding! He was welcoming, knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire class both fun and easy to follow. We prepared four delicious Thai dishes, including a flavorful Thai curry, a classic Thai stir fry, and one of Thailand’s most iconic desserts—mango sticky rice. Bense did a wonderful job explaining the ingredients, cooking techniques, and how to recreate each dish at home. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the class was hands-on from beginning to end, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. It was the perfect combination of learning, cooking, and enjoying authentic Thai cuisine. This was much more than just a cooking class—it was a cultural experience and one of the highlights of my visit to Bangkok. I highly recommend House of Taste Cooking School, and if you have the opportunity to learn from Bense, you’re in for a fantastic experience!

Day of many fun experiences!

Ken, our guide, was very enthusiastic and friendly. He made sure to check in with how we were all feeling regarding lunch, timing, energy, and bought us all extra water at some point too. It was nice not to have to figure out any logistics for the train market and train ride, floating market, salt factory cafe. Not a lot of time at the train market, if you want to shop I’d wait for the floating market. The tour company provides snacks, mango sticky rice and food on the air conditioned vehicle. We were well photographed by Ken and the photographer!!! The foot massage is just a soak but lovely anyways. For the money, thoroughly quite exceeded its value

Great full day tour for families!

My family of five had a wonderful full-day tour with our guide, Shirley. She was incredibly accommodating and shared fascinating stories about each site we visited. The ride was comfortable, and our driver met us at the entrance of every stop, so we didn’t have to walk far in the heat. The train market and floating market were such fun experiences for the whole family. The temples and historical sites in Ayutthaya were absolutely breathtaking and completely exceeded our expectations.

Our guide, Tom, took us to some amazing food places. We recommend not eating breakfast as you will eat so much food! Highlights for us included crab omelette, pad Thai, and original stick rice with mango! The tuk tuk drivers picked us up at our hotel and we went two people per ride.

Incredible guide & food

We did this evening street food tasting experience with Jay and it was phenomenal. We were two of five total travelers, along with our guide, so was easy to travel with and eat together. Great Cooking Class for all abilities

This experience was one of a kind, the lady’s running the class were so friendly and knowledgable. My friend is also vegetarian and they catered very well for her. We got to make 4 dishes each, and it included a free cooking book at the end for the things we had made. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Ao Nang area.

This was the best experience my husband and I had in Chiang Mai (which itself is a wonderful place). This cooking class includes a visit to a local market to learn about and purchase the different ingredients needed for the dishes to be prepare.d The class is very well organized and taught by experienced, lovely people. You can choose what you would like to make from a menu, and are in control of how much spice you prefer. We met great people and learned a great deal about Thai cooking and dishes.

Great tour

Super fun. The guides were nice and helpful at every point of the tour. The food was super delicious and the tour did not feel rushed. We had time at every stop to eat and take pictures. Just fair warning if it’s been a while since you rode a bike, you might want to review. The bikes do have gear shifts so make sure to know how to use them it will make the biking part a lot easier!

Wonderful class, absolutely recommend!

The Thai cooking class with Maliwan was fantastic! We met Maliwan at the school and took a tuk tuk together to a local market. This was a wonderful experience, Maliwan is so knowledgeable and we spent some time going around to different stalls to pick up fresh ingredients. Back at the school, we had a short break and then started cooking. Maliwan demonstrated making each dish, before we started on our own. We made a green curry paste from scratch, then used the paste to make our own green curry with chicken. We then moved onto the next dish. The class was a highlight of our trip to Thailand, and we're looking forward to recreating the dishes at home. A big thank you to Maliwan for such an incredible experience
