We would give Maria a million stars if we could. From a seamless pickup to a deep passion and knowledge for Tenerife to customizing the tour to meet our specific interests, Maria provided a comprehensive introduction to the natural world of Mt. Tiede national park. With a local's savvy, she moved things around on our tour to make sure we got the best views with the least crowds, and every suggestion she made was a good one. I cannot stress enough how worth it it was to have a private tour with just the four of us. Maria even ended the day with a small gift for each member of our group-- by then, she felt like family. What a Day!

What and amazing day! While the trip is not for the faint of heart and not for the physically fit, it was incredible. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area and was helpful to be sure we were safe by pointing out loose gravel, best ways to climb steep areas. He was encouraging when the trail became steep.

Our tour operator Maia Rosa was very knowledgeable the only thing is the tour was in three different languages so I think that was kind if draining for her and perhaps took away from the experience. I am sure she had a lot more information she could have given us if she didn’t had to repeat the same thing three different times.

Lovely trip

We would absolutely recommend this trip to Mount Teide. It was a really personalised experience, with a small group of just four people, which made it feel relaxed and enjoyable. The van was comfortable and just the right size for this kind of tour. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, passionate about the area, and able to speak multiple languages fluently. He clearly loves what he does and it shows in the way he shares information and looks after the group. He also brought along his little dog, who was lovely company and added a really nice touch to the experience. He is also a very careful driver which made the journey even more pleasant, especially on mountain roads. Overall, a great experience and a great choice if you are looking for something more personal and authentic.

It is a very complete...

It is a very complete tour of most of the major natural attractions of the island. The guide will tailor make the itinerary after you meet so you can see whatever you want and for how long you want to tour. We went for over 10 hours and did not feel rushed. The guide is very knowledgeable and kind. We felt safe and comfortable. I can't imagine there is a better company on this island.

It was a magical trip seeing the sun set above the clouds followed by a very knowledgeable guide Ozzy telling us about the planets and stars and looking at the sky through telescopes. Excellent half day tour of Mt Tiede Very comfortable coach. Small group ( 7 ) really enhances the experience. Tour guide was excellent. Friendly, pleasent and very knowledgeable about the area. Well planned out route with a number of very intersting stop points. Plenty of time at the summit to take a walk and enjoy the stunning beauty of the area.

Our Tenerife Adventure

Greg was a fantastic guide! Punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and accommodating with our tour. It's impossible to see so much in so little time (we were cruise passengers), but Greg made sure we were able to thoroughly enjoy all the places that interested us in the time alloted! Tenerife is an amazing island and we couldn't be happier with what we experienced. For reference, we visited: Anaga Rural Park; La Orotava; Casa de los Balcones; El Drago Milenario/Icod de los Vinos; and Garachico. I had a 6 year old that was concerned the ship was going to leave us, so after every stop he'd say, "let's go back to the ship!"....after the tour was done and 36 seconds into walking back to get on the ship, he says "wow, that place was really great"!! I would highly recommend this tour with Greg and couldn't be more appreciative for his services.
