We were appreciative to have a guide who drove safely during this tour. I do not recommend driving them yourself. However we were placed in a vehicle with French people and our guide spoke exclusively French all day. We signed up for a tour in English. There was an English speaking guide in another vehicle. Not ideal and seemed like poor planning by the tour company.

A most enjoyable day. Frankie was our tour guide and he was assume. If you want to get off the beaten path, I would definitely recommend this trip. Beware, the roads are a bit scary and if you are afraid of heights (like I am) you may not be able to look down over the cliffs.

This was a good day out. Saw Teide from different angles and learnt lots about the island and its volcanic history. Would have liked more time in Masca but was a fun trip regardless. Even the restaurant stop was good! Very scenic.

Really good guide, informative and happy to answer any questions. Plenty of time given at the stops for photos abs refreshments. There’s lunch at a stop along the way for €9 abs it includes soup, chicken and potatoes and wine.
Says 4-5 hours but we were closer to 8.

Very interesting tour climbing from the sea to Teide and heading down to the sacry road to Masca.
###it's not an off road trip. It's a tour in public roads in 4x4.
Very nice driver/guide, the stops are in the most relevant places with time to take pictures, and the Lunch is pleasant.
But... Viator has the wrong information referring to it as an off road experience.
Never the less, if you're looking for a one day trip to see the best of Tenerife, I recommend it.

Many extremely stunning views! Don’t miss out Masca! Thanks to our guide we learned a lot about volcanic action, the island of Tenerife as such, and he explained everything we wanted to know - starting with the school system up to the vegetation and overall living situation. Great guy!
We also had a nice lunch in a restaurant that was arranged for our group for 10,-€ p.p. Good value!
I recommend this company and the tour itself, too!!

Très déçu par cette expédition qui a peu d’intérêt. Le fait d’y aller en 4x4 n’a aucune utilité puisque nous restons sur la route goudronnée. Cette journée a été sauvée par notre guide Nancy qui a su animer cette journée et la bonne ambiance des autres personnes qui partageaient le véhicule.
