Pick up is from selected hotels or a close central point in the South of Tenerife and Puerto De La Cruz only. (There are NO pick ups in rural areas, Santa Cruz or from visiting Cruise Ships) This excursion is not a pass to trek to the peak of the volcano nor would you have sufficient time.

Many thanks for your review. As stated on the product this is a bus trip not a permit to walk to the peak of the volcano. It is for all ages to enjoy the views. Cable car is not included, however we can help you with this.

A lovely trip with fantastic sights. Fernando the tour guide did a great job, was informative and was clear with instructions. A special thank you to Victor the driver who saved an idiotic tourist like me that came without the right warm clothes on. He gave me his coat and it saved the day.

Teide National Park is really an amazing place to visit with a really stunning landscape!
This was definitely the highlight of our winter break in Tenerife.
We were collected on time and met our tour guide Enrique, who is a very nice guy and then we started the very interesting drive up into the mountains.
I picked this tour as it gives the national park the time it definitely deserves rather than so many other tours which just seem to have a short stop at Teide.
We made two stops for about 30 minutes each where we had time to walk around the incredible landscape and take some pictures.
Then there was the cable car stop... unfortunately we didn't get tickets with this company as we had thought it would be closed because of the snow as there had been closures, but it was open and we weren't able to get tickets at this late stage so if the cable car is a must for you then get your tickets with the company when you book and in fairness they had emailed us before the trip asking if we wanted to get tickets so no fault on their side.
It turned out to be a happy accident for us as after dropping off people for the cable car we were taken along with another couple for more exploration of the far side of the park and some amazing views of the snow covered Teide.
We ended up preferring doing this although I'm sure the cable car is fun also.
We also had time to stop at a nice place where I had a refreshing beer and the pizza was tasty too!
Then we collected the other people from the cable car and we had one more stop where we had some time to explore and take some final pictures before we left the park.
Enrique is really an expert with all his knowledge about Teide and the flora and fauna of this landscape and knows the history very well...he is also a funny guy too.
The bus driver is also very professional and what a crazy drive it is! I was sure his name is Jose and he is also a very friendly man.
We got great views of Los Gigantes on the way back to our hotel also which was a big bonus. I think we might have just gotten lucky to see them with location of someone's hotel drop off, but not sure?
One final point I would add is that through a bit of research I decided to wear jeans as I thought in January and with recent snow that it would be cold in the mountains, but it was very warm all day and I would have been fine with shorts and a t-shirt, but maybe that's just me.
So thanks very much amigos...we had a brilliant day!

It was beautiful view on the Teide Mountain!
It was a long journey when the coach returned, it took us from 8:45-18:06, over 9 hours for the whole journey but it shows 5-7 hours on the activity information.

I hate to grade humans, because I’m not a perfect person, but our tour guide for the Tiede national park tour was above ,and beyond 100 percent-he works well with the driver ,of the tour bus, and is working a perfectly flawless game plan for fun, education and information-both men made us feel like family, and was always there with answers to our questions-not sure how you find such talent, but glad you do-well done, and excellent full day, thank you much! See you again in the near future amigos!

I had a lot Viator tours, but this is the worst.
I read the reviews and now after the tour I understand what they are talking about.
We had Paul as a guide and Alfredo as a driver.
Until there was concern from the customers everything was fine.
After the concern the guide Paul become very rude. He said to me 'that's your problem'.
After vulcano we need to meet at 14:15 at the parking down the vulcano. I personally asked 'down there near white cars?'. He said 'yes'. So go down from the hill. But then appeared that the bus arrived at the top of the hill. The driver and guide saw me but not stop and I was forced to climb at the hill again. When I asked why the bus stopped not where we agreed he started disparagingly laughing, was rude the rest of journey and when I asked again about such attitude he become offencive.
This left make for the rest of the day.
The guide who's main responsibility is to communicate with people must be adlie and adaptive and when request come from the client such person must remain calm and polite, but not defensive or offensive. Communication skill for guides is essential. Without it guide is unprofessional.
Just to add that information that gave this guide were couple of paragraphs that can be printed at one A4 sheet, very narrow superficial information.

Bus parking in this area is difficult as there are so few parking spaces we may have to take an alternative zone as not to disrupt traffic, block a road or access ways for other vehicles. We are sorry that this turned out an inconvenience for everyone.

Great day out, well organised, super lovely guide and driver, excellent value and amazing landscape. Had a few nice stops enroute to visit a pine forest, cafe, scenic points etc very well paced. If you don’t opt for the cable car included make sure you pre purchase your cable car ticket if you’re wanting to go to the top of the volcano 🌋 and check with the company timings- I didn’t realise it’s really hard to get tickets on the day

Many thanks for a great review. We always ask our clients if they would like to purchase tickets for the cable car which are timed correctly with the exact coach trip, During summer months the cable can can be sold out a few days in advance so it is wise to let us help if needed.

The bus came a bit later but then we realized that driver picked up guests from hotels or spots closed to the hotels driving through the small streets, so it was ok. After the tour everybody was dropped off at the same locations.
It was a pity that cable car didn’t work that day due to weather conditions but company arranged refunds for cable cars tickets very quickly, so here also no comments.
The tour itself is a separate story because seems we’ve got the most funniest guide I’ve ever seen - Enrique (I hope I wrote his name correctly). Together with the driver (Juan Ramon, ex Formula 1 driver, as he was represented) they made perfect diet 😁. People in the bus were laughing the whole tour. Worth to mention that driving skills of Juan were indeed perfect and safe and Enrique told a lot of interesting facts about Tenerife (as I understood he also has very good sommelier skills 😄).
We enjoyed the tour and if you want to go to Teide without any extra efforts (drive own car, check the routes, etc.) I would recommend this one.

Great trip to a really fascinating area and highly recommended. Amazing views from the top of the Volcano but very cold. Tip for doing this trip take some warm clothing even in the height of summer it will be cold due to the high altitude. Overarching a well organise and enjoyable trip

Fantastic tour with different spots to see. Even time for a little hike around Mirador de La Rulata. The guide was providing us with lots of information and they stopped at many important locations. The tour is highly recimmended. Be aware that the ticket for the cable car is not included. You can buy it on your own via internet.

Brilliant day out! Views were spectacular. Our tour guide was amazing, brilliant humour and so informative. Could listen to him all day. Got a good few stops for photos and something to eat or drink. Also plenty of stops for toilets. 100% recommend!

Such an amazing trip. My friend and I were meant to go on the half-day trip but did not realise we booked the wrong day. The company were really kind and helpful by letting us go on the full-day tour and it was great. Really lovely guide (Alicia) and driver (Solomon) who made sure everyone had a good time. It was a quick and easy pick-up from the hotel and we managed to get to the tour spots in better time than other tour coaches, meaning we had great views without a mass of people. Thanks so much again!

Great day out!
We joined the tour at Ten Bel in Costa del Silencio.
"The Fonz" was an excellent tour guide who provided a very interesting and informative commentary in English. We learned so much!
The driver, Bernardo, was very friendly, and a safe and steady driver.
The coach was air conditioned and comfortable.
Although the tour is a half day trip, as it collects and drops off people in different resorts, it may take a bit longer than that, depending where you join and who else has booked the same tour.
The tour has regular stop off points for comfort breaks, lunch and photo opportunities.
The National Park is full of contrasting environments and stunning vistas. It's beautiful and worth seeing!

Brilliant. It is a great day half a day out. Just being there with the sleeping volcano is alone an experience. The incredible views. and at the same time it is peaceful. It is interesting to see how many movies have been made around the base and sunken canyon of Teide.

Fantastic nature experience.
Guide with great knowledge of the area and history, guide fluent in several languages.
A lot of time in the bus due to several pickups at different hotels, even More waiting in bus due to problems with tickets for the top-lift.
In general, great natureexperience, good guide but too much time spent in the bus, not really worth the money

We are sorry about your experience. however you holiday insurance should cover this that what it is there for. As per the terms of Viator and its partners. there is a 24hr notice of cancelation any time less is stated no refund. It does not mean the company service is awful for you to expect them to pay for your empty seats. You were offered by the kindess of the company to take an alternative date.

The volcano and national park was amazing but the experience with the tour guide was not ! The tour guide at the 1st instance was rude because i forgot my facemask (not required in London) and almost didn’t let me on , only to find she had some spare with her !
2nd : we didn’t have cash to go on the cable car so I proposed we take it out the cash machine at the end and give ( they would only take cash for the cable
Car tickets ). When we came to the end and gave the cash she asked us to get off! This was nearly 8 miles away from our hotel! She asked us to take the bus even though I was not feeling great . Would not go again

The actual trip was good until the coach broke down and then they didn’t know how to deal with it. The communication was poor and we were stuck there for an additional 2 hours with no food or water provided. Replacement coach arrived but air conditioning was broken so traveled back in 30+ degree heat with face masks and no air flow.

A bad experience who turned into an excellent one!
I was on the bus stop very early waiting for the bus to arrive. My pick up time was at 9.55am and following other people, being in another country, by mistake I went in another bus which arrived around 10.15am in the original bus stop.
I arrived in a shopping centre station and literally panicked and called the company many times. Thankfully, there are still good human in these world and they came to pick me up and took me to the bus which was already far away from my location.
It was AMAZING for me that they turned such an horrible experience into an amazing one!
A special thanks to Tenerife ticket y excursiones and to Joaquin for driving me all the way to the bus stop and helped me to calm down with his kindness.
Also I would like to thanks Guido an excellent Italian multilingual guide who made the trip interesting and relaxing!

Great family experience. Tour guide very good with all his stories. Keeps you entertained while on the bus trip. Kids (7)(5) were listening and interested in the stories, which helped while on the bus. Also good way to see the area while sitting back getting some local knowledge
