10/10! Must do when you want to visit the Ancient City

Navin is a 10/10 tour guide! Not only does he know a lot of interesting facts, but he also presents the information in a fun and engaging way. Definitely not like the boring history teacher we all had at some point. The tour covered all the highlights, but there was also time to make a few pit stops to see the monkeys and try some local snacks. I would especially recommend him if you're from the Netherlands. An excellent all round experience. This was made even better by our excellent guide, he was so knowledgeable of all of the things we saw on the safari and was really accommodating throughout. We were picked up directly from the hotel right in time, the guide spoke really good English and made the whole experience very good. We saw absorbs of interesting things on the safari such as herds of elepahants very close up, water buffalo, chameleon, deer and monkeys. I would highly recommend this tour and if your lucky you will get the guide we did!

Highly recommend this tour! All the highlights in a short time period.

This was an incredible tour! We felt like it covered all the major highlights and we didn’t feel rushed. Our tour guide Krish was lovely and gave us heaps of good tips along the way too - really friendly guy and safe driver! He spoke really good English so that helped too. The hotels we stayed at were comfortable 3&4 star hotels which was great and in good locations. The places that Krish took us for lunch were all really good places with good food. I especially liked the safari in Udawallawe and the village tour we did at Sigiriya - as part of the village tour we got to have lunch made by the villagers and that was an absolute highlight and really recommend everyone to do the Sigiriya Village tour lunch (I think this was with ‘A+ Tours’). Krish was also able to customise the trip on the spot based on our preferences and even stopped at additional places (like for us to get durian haha). Overall great trip and would highly recommend!

Amazing Wilpattu Safari – Highly Recommended!

We had an incredible experience on our Wilpattu safari from Negombo. Our guide was exceptional – knowledgeable, friendly, and really made the wildlife experience come alive. The day was long, starting with a 4 AM hotel pickup and returning around 7 PM, but it was absolutely worth it. The drive from Negombo to Wilpattu took over 3 hours, and our driver was excellent – safe, smooth, and very accommodating. The highlight? Spotting not one, but two leopards in the wild! The park itself is stunning and less crowded than other national parks, which made the experience feel truly special. If you’re considering a safari from Negombo, this is the one to do. Incredible wildlife, a fantastic guide, and a memorable adventure from start to finish.

Great service with Romesh as driver

We travelled around Sri Lanka for just over a week with Romesh, and we’re extremely happy with the service he provided. He was consistently on time, organised, and got us to each destination (Kandy, Yala, Galle and Colombo) smoothly, often earlier than we expected, which made the days feel relaxed rather than rushed. When we adjusted plans along the way, he handled it easily and without any fuss. He also had great local knowledge and recommended several excellent places to eat that turned out to be some of our favourite eats of the trip. Throughout the journey he was friendly, calm, and professional, and struck a good balance between being helpful and giving us space. Kaudulla afternoon safari with Kurama

I was staying in Sigiriya and booked for a 3pm safari on my own. Booking process was easy and I was contacted by WhatsApp to advise me that Minneriya was flooded at the moment, so they recommended visiting Kaudulla instead, which I agreed to. My driver was Kurama, he picked me up and as we drove out we actually came across a group of elephants crossing the road, so pulled over to observe them up close, which was pretty lucky. Once we got to the park and started the actual safari, Kurama demonstrated his eagle eyes, spotting a Brown Fish Owl sitting patiently overlooking the river. Throughout the safari we saw monkeys, crocodiles, peacocks, lots of jackals, green bee eaters, pelicans, cormorants and many other birds. On to the main event though; elephants! We saw probably 40 elephants, including several close up encounters, most notably with a playful baby elephant. Kurama was knowledgeable and told me about each animal as we came across them, but more importantly he was respectful towards the elephants, ensuring we never encroached upon their space or caused them undue stress. I had a great time on my safari and would recommend it to anyone.

Wasa goes above and beyond

It was well worth the long day! So many beautiful sights and experiences. Wasa was also very accommodating and thoughtful as our driver. Even though there was a payment issue he helped to correct it to ensure we didn’t overpay and that our tour went as smoothly as possible.
