It is a long day and an early start but we'll worth it.
The train was amazing got to see he drivers cab and talk to the driver about his years on the train.
Lunch very nice and our driver the best.
The tea plantation was educational wish they had a shop

We booked this as we were only in Sri Lanka a short time, and wanted to see Ella. This was a great way to tick off a few of the sights without it taking up more than a day. It was a guided tour but not much information given on each location, but it was still really good. We’d definitely recommend this trip!

A wonderful day trip exploring the sights around Ella. This let us experience the beauty of Sri Lanka away from the coast. Pradeep was our driver and guide for the day and was superb at his job. He was friendly and made sure everything was just right. Highlights included the 9 arch bridge, train ride through the stunning countryside, Little Adams Peak and private tour of a tea plantation.

This is the perfect way to visit a few key sites if you're short on time. In one day we got to visit a waterfall, the nine arches bridge, Ella and little Adam's Peak. It was perfect! Prot Tip: bring a change of clothes.

This is a great way to see a lot of Ella in a short time. The trip was seamless, Dinesh our driver was great and we got to see a lot. The lunch which was included in the trip was excellent!

A well organised trip from the start- up bright and early at 4am. Dinesh picked us up on time and we visited a waterfall, mini Adam’s peak and the nine arches before 9am!
Feeding the monkeys at the waterfall was fun and a tuk- tuk was hired for us to take to the arches and the peak which was a fun surprise.
The highlight of the trip was the train ride- we were dropped at Demodera station and took the train for an hour or so to Haputale. Beautiful views and recommend getting a 150Rs samosa on the train as a snack!
We had lunch after the train ride in a buffet which offered amazing views.
Really recommend this tour, the long drive 100% worth it.

Where do we start! First off Bentota Travels (Sam) is just a legend. This tour was incredible, Sam’s communication and confirmation of our Driver, times and everything else was fantastic.
Danuskha our driver was just the best. So happy, informative and friendly. We had the best time in the car as we drove for hours.
The tour itself was so much fun. My husband and I saw and experienced so much in this one day, we loved it. The train ride was so much fun, make sure to buy snacks on the train, the fresh vade was incredible. The tea estates were so educational and we had so much tea. Walking little Adam’s peake was great too, not as hard as I thought and I’m glad we did it.
Overall the best day with a great Tour company. Do not miss this day!!

From pick up to drop off back at our hotel we were treated to a fabulous trip. Our driver was attentive throughout and made every effort to provide us with the most memorable experience. The organisers arranged us to board the train north of Ella (Demdosa), so we had great (reserved) seats and experienced the nine arches bridge before the crowds joined at Ella.
Following the train ride, we visited the tea plantation and did both the factory tour and plantation tour which gave an insight into the labour of local people.
After a simple but satisfactory lunch at a local restaurant we spent the reminder of the day in the company of a local who showed us up to Little Adam’s Peak with amazing 360’ views, before taking us by Tuk-tuk down the lanes where we could access the nine arches bridge on foot along the railway line.
Additional stops at Ravana waterfalls, roadside stops to see the crocs and innumerable monkeys and dogs at the roadside we got a taste of the hill country of this amazing country and a valuable contrast to our coastal resort.
Ella is busy, bustling with back packers and so for us a day trip was the perfect way to visit this area.
