Split Croatia
You get a detailed account of the history of Split. The guide, Mia, was very knowledgeable and shared great information about the history and added comical details to her stories about the people of Split. The dalmation’s stores were awesome. The tour was great. Loved it and loved Split.

5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent tour! Josko was an outstanding guide and an incredible storyteller who brought the history of Diocletian’s Palace and Split to life. His knowledge, passion, and engaging style made the experience both educational and entertaining. The pace of the tour was perfect—never rushed and with plenty of time to take everything in. We learned so much that we never would have discovered exploring on our own. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Split!

Fantastic tour
Toni was so awesome! I learned so much history about Split, the Roman era and cultural facts of Croatia. Toni is so knowledgeable and engaging. I learned so much that I tried to repeat the tour for my husband when he arrived to Split later that afternoon!
And I loved having a smaller group. I feel like it was more interactive. Would totally recommend! Thanks again Toni

A stroll with an old friend.
We just completed Daniela’s Walking Tour of Diocletian’s Palace and the Old Town today, and it was hands-down one of the best guided tours we’ve ever experienced!
Daniela is extremely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the history and hidden stories of Croatia. She took her time with us, patiently answering every single question we had and pointing out fascinating artifacts and details we would have completely missed on our own. What really stood out was how fun and engaging she was — the tour felt more like a wonderful stroll with a friend than a formal tour.
We’ve been on many guided tours over the years, and Daniela is truly the best we’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Split, do not miss the opportunity to spend a few hours with her. You’ll learn so much, laugh a lot, and leave with a much deeper appreciation for this incredible city. Highly, highly recommended!

The food and history tour...
The food and history tour with Natasha was incredible!!! She was so kind, very knowledgeable about the city and cuisine, told funny jokes throughout the tour, and gave us a ton of recommendations for the rest of our trip. Definitely go hungry because it is a ton of food!

The guide was great in making the Old City new again
It hits all the sights, and the guide gives you all the context and historical anecdotes and tidbits to increase your understanding and appreciation. We actually had a substitute guide, Elena, and she was terrific -- not only all the crucial stories, but witty and engaging.

Beautiful national park not far from Split
Krka National Park is a must see while visiting Split. Our tour guide, Lovro, was fantastic and very funny too. The ride is a little over an hour on a comfortable bus. We first stopped in Skradin for swimming and grabbed lunch at Tabono (get the burrata salad). We then took a boat ride to the waterfalls which was scenic and peaceful. The hike inside the park was about 30 minutes and not strenuous (you can do it in flip flops) with gorgeous views all throughout. At the end of the hike there are restrooms and shops to buy drinks or a snack for the ride back to Split.

Info-packed and enjoyable!
This was a great tour to learn about the history of the city. Our tour guide, Antonia, was friendly and knowledgeable about the palace, from when it was built to current maintenance today. A lot of info is packed into this 90 minute, non-physically demanding tour.

Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful tour of Split Old Town with Ivana. She is incredibly knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor! Ivana shared so much interesting history and was so patient in answering all of our questions.
On top of that, she speaks five languages! It was a truly nice tour and we highly recommend Ivana! 😊

Exceptional Tour of Split
Daniela’s detailed explanation of the history of Dalmatia and Split was very interesting and informative. Her knowledge of Diocletian’s Palace was impressive, and she brought the palace to life through her delivery. It was a pleasure to hear about Split from a native!

Wonderful Tour and Guide
Amazing tour! We learned so much that we never would have if we had explored on our own. As always, the walking tour provides a great foundation for a visit to a city.
Mario was terrific. Knowledgeable and he was willing to share his experiences to answer questions that were outside the realm of the tour!

We did a lot of research...
We did a lot of research before deciding on this trip and it lived up to all of our expectations. We wanted a larger boat, which this was. It had three levels... lowest fully covered, middle both outside and inside and top level was a sun deck with lounge chairs. A light breakfast was supplied and lunch. Ample time at each of three stops... two for swimming near the shore and one for walking around. The boat was very smooth and allowed plenty of space for walking around. And the crew were all friendly and helpful. Highest marks for this voyage.
