It was a great morning. Ivan was an excellent guide. The wine tasting was also a very good experience. We stayed and had lunch at the restaurant. The hostess was knowledgeable without being pedantic.

Slavco did a great job giving us the tour! He truly loves his country! The wine tasting was a wonderful way to finish our tour. We learned a lot about the importance of pairing wines and local wine making.

This was a duplication of tours I previously took. The wine tasting was a huge disappointment. I did a wine tasting at the same location the day before. They don't tell you where the wine tasting will be so I wasted money and they refused to give me a partial refund.

The guides were excellent for both parts of this tour, the walking tour and wine tasting. The walking tour was efficient but interesting and in the crazy heat, we appreciated the efforts to stay shaded and hydrated. It was only two of us for the wine tasting and the wine bar was lovely. We tried extra stuff and were in a nice cool cave room which felt amazing after the hot walking tour. Perfect balance of tourism and relaxation and good food and drink worth the money.

Our tour guide was great! We got to learn alot of the history of Croatia which is always better to hear from locals. Be sure to bring sunglasses or a hat as most of the stops are not shaded so you will be in the sun for 90 minutes. The wine tasting was a good add on & so were the traditional snacks we got to try!

Both separate portions of the tour were great - informative and fun. The wine portion by Ivan was a high point. He imparted a lot of very useful information on Croatian wines (very good by the way) and also flavor profiles and how to appreciate all wines in general. Bery relaxed and friendly. Highly recommended. The locale for the tasking is charming.

Awesome experience! The walking tour was very informative, and the guide walked us from the end of the walking tour directly to the wine tasting to make sure we wouldn’t get lost. Even included the tasting of a delicious dessert wine that is hard to get outside of Croatia!

We booked the walking tour and wine tasting - the walking tour was very interesting with an excellent guide. Our tour started on time at 10:30 and the walking tour ended at noon with no mention of wine tasting. We asked our guide who told us the wine tasting would start at 12:30 at the same location where we started the walking tour. We arrived at 12:20 and finally called phone number for the tour company at 12:40 (when no one had showed up). They sent someone over who took us to a wine shop and dropped us for a tasting. The tasting was well done (just as was the walking tour).
To summarize - the tour and tasting were both very well done. But the coordination between the two were non-existent and we had to jump through some extra hoops just to get to the wine tasting.

Fantastic, interesting and informative tour of the palace. 90mins was a great length - not too short or long - and Marta was an amazing guide!! The wines were delicious in a lovely wine bar afterwards. We ended up staying for hours! Would definitely recommend.

Good to hear the historical bits from our guide, Slavko, who had a lot of knowledge of the history of Croatia. He would also make sure we were in a shady spot when stopping to lecture, as it was quite hot that day. The wine tasting was also good, as well as the snacks of prosciutto, bread, cheese, local fig jam and olive tapenade.

We really enjoyed our guided walk of Split - the young lady was not only entertaining but also very knowledgeable, and told us facts we would probably not have found in guide books.
We then enjoyed the wine tasting; our Wine Expert tutored us through three lovely wines accompanied by some delicious local snacks.

The walking tour was amazing from start to finish… we really learnt so much about split and it’s history. Maria was our tour guide and she was so knowledgeable, but also fun and engaging!

Our guide Maria was a history graduate at the university and shared great information about the city and it's history. She did not get too history heavy so it did not drag at all. Recommend having water with you as if it is hot, you will easily need it. The wine tasting was well worth it. 3 wines all explained without needing to know much about wine if you do not. Paired with cheese and meat.

Guide (female University senior student) name starts with M (Me or Ma?) was outstanding! Very knowledgeable,so personable & made the whole experience so memorable & fun. We enjoyed her tour so much & feel terrible we can't remember her full name because she made a great impression on us! So full of history & knowledge, we fell in love with her city of Split, Croatia! Wine Tasting was fun, but didn't start on time, so was a bit of a let down after such a great walking tour guide!

Our small group walking tour of Split was just what we expected. Remember the old palace has four entrances so be sure to find the north. But our guide was ready with her blue umbrella so it wasn't difficult. She led the group (2 of us, 7 in total) through the palace describing the architecture and history behind it all. Even with the large crowds each time she stooped to explain something she found a shady place and we were always within earshot. She had a truly honest love for the city and its rich history.
Our tour included a wine tasting and meat/cheese board which also didn't disappoint. We enjoyed it so much that we asked for menus and ate a terrific risotto and salad lunch! Remember of all the stops on our cruise that Split doesn't accept Euros in most places so have a credit card ready. The prices were very reasonable.
Overall, we highly recommend this tour!

Excellent walking tour which covered the Diocletian's Palace area in full. Mijo Perkovic was a very good guide with a nice sense of humour. Very good wine and Croatian tapas tasting at conclusion of the tour. Highly recommended.
