Daniela was beyond remarkable! Her historical knowledge was impressive and she tied the history together well. Super easy to understand (and she also spelled Croatian words, so that was helpful). She gave great local tips & recommendations. Her passion for of Split and Croatia carries through her tour. Truly the best tour guide we’ve ever had! Take this tour with her!!!

Daniela was an amazing guide for a walking tour of Diocletian's Palace and Spilt. She had a wealth of knowledge to share about her hometown- clearly you could feel the love of her town through the joy in giving us this tour. There was 4 of us in our group- perfect size. Our tour was only supposed to be 2 hours, but it ended up being a little bit longer. It was a short excursion, but perfect given, it was a cruise port day. If I have the chance to come bak to Split, I'd sign up for another tour with Daniela in a heartbeat and you should too!

Daniela took my friend and I on a tour all over Old Town Split. When my friend had to abandon the tour 15 minutes in due to back pains, Daniela expressed deep concern about her well-being. After I reassured Daniela that my friend would be fine and just needed to rest, we continued the tour. Daniela gave me her undivided attention. Even though the tour was supposed to last only 2 hours, we went over time as Daniela patiently and competently answered all my questions. She’s armed with so much historical facts and interesting anecdotes about Split’s chronicled past. Her nationalistic pride shone through as she shared Split’s complex history. I chose this tour based on the reviews here on Viator and I made the right decision to have Daniela take me on this walking tour. She is dynamic, engaging and very fluent in Croatia’s history. Her insights and observations have fueled my curiosity in learning more about Croatian culture and customs.

Daniela was fantastic! We traveled as a family with a kid in a stroller and everything was done very well. She was super knowledgeable about the history and facts of the area. Also super patient and accommodating to our child's needs as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting!

Roman Diocletian's palace & Old Medieval Town are awesome historical places, true living museums and we learned so much about Split and Croatia.
Daniela was amazing, she is native of Split & licensed guide, highly educated, very passionate with such warm and pleasant Mediterranean charm. As local she possess wealth of knowledge about her hometown and clearly knows every nook & cranny of the city, as well as its history, culture and customs. She was very patient, attentive and happy to answer any of our questions and gifted us with an absolutely great and memorable experience.

The tour started in front of the palace on the promenade and we learned some facts about the history of Croatia and Split. In the palace we also visited the cellar. Daniela is a very friendly and motivated guide. She's from Split herself. I can highly recommend the tour.
