Sólheimajökull Glacier Hiking and Ice Climbing
We began our tour from Reykjavík, so we got to see the breathtaking waterfalls! Our guide gave us good time to explore the falls and witness their powerful glory. For the next highlight of the tour (glacier / ice climbing), Lukas and Franco were incredible guides who made it super easy to learn the ropes in ice climbing. We felt safe and comfortable around them, especially given their helpful and enthusiastic attitudes. The ice climbing itself was an unforgettable experience, and walking all over the glacier offered some crazy views.

Highlight of the trip!
We had Gabriel (Gaby) as our guide and he was AWESOME. My mom isn’t super mobile/stable and he was so great to help her over anything somewhat iffy. He gave us great information on glaciers, ice caves, how Katla glacier has changed, and so much more. High energy, super knowledgeable, and fun to be around. The ice caves were unbelievable. The hike up there was relatively easy, but a little steep at parts, but worth every second of it. Stunning colors, views, and strength. Loved this tour so much!

Great guide, breathtaking scenery.
Pick up could have been described better, it’s basically a truck in the car park at the rear of the IceWear store. The tour guide made the day, very informative, with a few stories thrown in. The scenery is breathtaking and our cave was excellent. Got some great photos and memories.

Unforgettable Katla Cave
The Katla Ice Cave tour was one of the most magical experiences of my entire Iceland trip.
The landscape itself was incredible—standing inside a natural ice cave, it felt like stepping into another world. Every turn revealed something new, from the textures and colors of the ice to the dramatic glacier scenery surrounding us.
What made the experience truly unforgettable, however, was our guide, Helgi. He was knowledgeable, funny, engaging, and clearly passionate about Iceland's glaciers and natural history. He had a wonderful way of making everyone feel comfortable while also sharing fascinating information throughout the tour.
One of my favorite memories was when he helped us create glacier rainbows in the ice. It was such a simple but beautiful moment that perfectly captured the wonder of the experience. Those little moments are what transform a great tour into an unforgettable one.
Helgi's enthusiasm, sense of humor, and genuine love for what he does made the tour even more special. By the end, it felt less like following a guide and more like exploring with someone who was excited to share one of Iceland's greatest treasures. And I definitely recommend you try the water.
Thank you for an amazing adventure. Of all the incredible things I experienced in Iceland, the Katla Ice Cave remains one of the memories I find myself smiling about most.

Memorable experience
Horseback riding on the black sand beaches of Iceland was a memorable experience of my trip.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and clearly passionate about both the horses and the beautiful landscape they call home. The horses were calm, well cared for, and a joy to ride. As someone who tries to go horseback riding whenever I travel, this was easily one of the most unique rides I have ever experienced.
Riding along the black volcanic sand with the Atlantic Ocean beside us and the sea stacks of Reynisdrangar rising in the distance felt like stepping into another world. The scenery was breathtaking, but what made the experience truly special was the connection between the horses, the landscape, and the people guiding us through it.
I will never forget sitting on an Icelandic horse, listening to the waves, feeling the cool air, and taking in the dramatic coastline around me. It was one of those rare travel moments that stays with you long after the trip is over.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the South Coast.

Arctic Adventure Done Right
The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and made safety a top priority throughout. I'll absolutely be booking with them again on my next visit and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable experience.

The cave was so cool, our guide was really knowledgeable and having a moment to sit in the darkness without the lights was so trippy but fun. Then going to the silfra fissure snorkeling was amazing, the water is so clear, and having hot cocoa with marshmallows after hit the spot!

Amazing experience!!
10/10 was so much fun, we went around late may and there were like 20-30 puffins (thousands more come in july) but still enough to see and enjoy them. The tour guide told us lots and tailored the experience to what we wanted to do, weather was so nice but we still wore the coveralls to protect from wind and was very comfortable all day. Victoria was our tour guide and so nice!! She knew lots about the whole island and was so funny.

Not to be Missed!!
This was Fabulous! Our family loved every minute of riding ATV’s across the Black Sand Beach & over river crossings! We even got to see the old US dc3 plane relic left on the beach and learned about its history! Teen Boys loved it as did my husband! I was the princess backseat rider and enjoyed it all so much. Highly recommend!

Amazing trip!
The trip was incredible and I really enjoyed the whole experience! Our original time got cancelled due to weather warnings but the team were very helpful at resolving this and offering the earlier slot. We did get stuck out in the snow for a while but this was bound to happen with the weather conditions and we all got back safely and only around an hour and a half later than expected.

Land of Fire and Ice
Lava show in Vik (guided by Luis) introduced us to volcano science and Katla geopark. It was a nice way to learn a little about the area and its relationship/history with the volcano. We were going to explore the Katla geopark/glacier the following day, so the show gave me more appreciation for the landscape, the history, and the residents. Plus it was nice to sit back, share a beer during the show and remove some layers due to the rising heat of the room. (And the soup next door is pretty tasty too).

Ebbi is the best!
Ebbi was the best. He is so knowledgeable of the island, which makes sense since he grew up there. You can tell he has so much love and passion for his home town and island. He took us to see so much beside the puffins and volcanos. We leaned about the town, the history of the island and several scenic views. Boom with ebbi you won't regret it.
