Spectacularly beautiful, incredible facilities, not to be missed! While there are many public pools throughout Iceland and the Blue Lagoon, there is something VERY special about the Secret Lagoon, the natural beauty, the surroundings and the entire experience were a wonderful start to our Iceland vacation!

What a great experience. The forecast wasn’t great to be out on a hike so we figured why not relax in a hot spring. Great choice. So relaxing. And the amenities were well thought out even down to hair dryers and bathing suit dryers. You can’t go wrong choosing this.

We love the secret lagoon! Natural bottom to walk on, extra hot pools for those of us that like it hotter! Not as busy as the other lagoons! Very nice shower room and a bathing suit spinner! Bring your own towel or you can rent one from them. Oldest and most affordable lagoon in Iceland!

Great place, great value.
Don't miss the bathing suit dryer when you are done and available plastic bags for wet items when you are done.
Pool temp. is great and you can walk to different places for different temperatures (we only went in the main, large pool).

Absolutely love this place, perfect weather and atmosphere. Easy to get around, quiet, not too many people. 1 hour and 30 minutes is more than enough time. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great adventure! All needed equipment and safety information provided. I recommend wearing a single layer of comfortable clothes and you will be given a warm jumpsuit to wear underneath the dry suit.

The secret lagoon was delightful! It doesn’t have the hype or high cost of the other hot springs but is beautiful! It is clean, the facilities nice and new, and the staff is helpful and nice. The surroundings are also beautiful - 10 out of 10!

The facility is well organized and really a must do while in Iceland. Pro tip: as you leave the locker room, use the circular tubes to store towel and shoes. Also the facility allows children and requires flotation devices and does have them available for free use.

We felt very relaxed after leaving this natural spa. You can walk in the cold around the pool to get the hot and cold therapeutic effect and we looked more hydrated and young at the end. The locker rooms were a warm space to shower and hold our dry clothes. We had a few snacks at the end of our stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful:)

The Secret Lagoon was an absolutely incredible experience! The lagoon was off the main roadway and perfectly placed in a secure and private location. The views from the lagoon were breathtaking. The facilities were well kept, clean, and easily accessible for all needs. Additionally, there was plenty of space in the lagoon to move about and it never felt overcrowded or uncomfortable. Highly recommend this secret place!

The long line of tour busses at this pool tells me that this is no longer a secret. People were waiting to get in even though it was past opening time. When we got our turn, people were almost shoulder to shoulder. Needless to say we didn’t stay as long as we wanted to.
