A Great Trip

My husband and I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Sbu picked us up from our Airbnb on time. He was so welcoming and professional. He was a lot of fun to talk to on the trip there and back. Once we got to the game drive, Thiamo and Peter took over and they were great as well. They had tons of information about the park and the wildlife. They even tailored the drive to accommodate what we wanted. We were supposed to have lunch at the park's restaurant, but we ended up having an outdoor bbq lunch, at a scenic area overlooking the park and a beautiful lake. The lunch was very tasty and I'm really glad we ended up there instead. We were very fortunate on the actual game drive. We were immediately greeted by animals upon entering the park. As they day went on, we got to see more and more animals, and get closer and closer. We learned a lot and had some great photo ops. I was nervous at first booking such a long excursion, but we ended up having a fun and easy day. I definitely recommend booking!

We had an amazing experience with this tour company from start to finish. Everything was well-organized, and the entire tour ran smoothly, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy ourselves. A huge part of what made the tour so memorable was our guide, Bobby. He was absolutely fantastic—funny, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He had a great way of keeping everyone engaged while sharing interesting facts and stories that really brought everything to life. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it made all the difference. If you’re considering booking a tour, I highly recommend this company—and if you get Bobby as your guide, you’re in for a great time!

Outstanding tour!! Don’t miss while in Las Vegas!

Great Adventures and Paul (our guide) are outstanding!!! Tour very well organized. Paul sent a message two days before offering options for the sandwich and the day before he sent me another message with the pick up time and location in the hotel. The tour departed on time and he stoped for breakfast after Hoover dam visit. Grand Canyon is marvelous and he guided us, explaining everything. Highly recommended tour!!

Well worth a long day!

This tour covers a lot of ground but is well worth it, especially on a warm sunny day like we had. It's also a great alternative to more expensive cruise tours to the same places. There were 17 of us in a large, comfortable van with AC. Gakeem was a skilled driver, and Ibby was an excellent guide (a native of Cape Town), friendly and very knowledgable. He shared interesting info and history of all sites on the itinerary. All was well timed without feeling rushed. Table Mountain was clear and panoramic (no cloud cover). We had to wait 30 minutes in line for the cablecar, but when we left the line was 2 hours! The drive along Chapman's Peak had gorgeous coastal views. Ibby took a group vote and chose a lovely spot with several options for lunch on your own. Cape of Good Hope had spectacular views of the cape and coastline. Along the way we saw baboons, a zebra and ostriches out in the wild. The penguins at Boulders Beach were a highlight! It was a full 10-hour tour but well worth it for all we got to see. I highly recommend it, but do yourself a favor and GET THE ALL-INCLUSIVE TOUR that includes tickets for Table Mountain, Boulder Beach, Cape Hope. It was quite a challenge for several guests to try and get tickets on their phones or at the sites where there are usually long lines. You'll save yourself the hassle and won't hold up the entire group!

Amazing Experience

I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Cape Town. Firstly, our driver Marshall arrived promptly at our hotel at the allocated pick up time and straight away made us feel at ease explaining what our day would consist of. Marshall was polite, informative and great fun, making our day so enjoyable as well as being one of the best guides we’ve had on an organised trip experience. We covered so much in one day without it feeling rushed, especially our time with the penguins and boat trip to seal island. We travelled with a small group, 10 of us in total from all corners of the globe, and we couldn’t have wished for a nicer group of people to share the experience with. We had several stops on route to use the bathroom and to get refreshments, as well as having a delicious lunch at the most stunning restaurant overlooking the ocean which was very reasonably priced. Overall we cannot fault anything about this experience and would highly recommend it.

There is a LOT of wine to drink and food to eat ;-) Also a bit of walking - but mostly at your own pace. The towns of Franschhoek and Stellenbosch are straight out of a picture book and the wine tasting spots we visited are superb. Scenery is a star of the day, with rolling fields and soaring mountains. Our driver/guide, Bonga was absolutely amazing. The level of service was 10 star! He was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and a great deal of fun.

An Incredible Crash Course of Cape Town

Had an incredible time and the itinerary was very comprehensive. Jean was incredible and really informative. I got to see so much of the beauty Cape Town has to offer in a day. Only thing I was slightly confused by was the memorialization of Cecil Rhodes, a brutal colonialist.

Easy Grand Canyon Tour

Our tour was lovely from start to finish! Our guide,Tim was very kind and accommodating and his trainee, Cody, was also very helpful. We were picked up exactly as communicated without any hiccups. Although there were no designated stops for breakfast, Tim would stop at a nearby gas station if anyone needed anything. They also provided chips and water on the bus, which was more than enough to keep everyone full until we reached the spectacular Grand Canyon. Tim took pictures of everyone at all of the stops. We ended up with lots of beautiful family pictures all because of him. Thanks Tim!

Ward was an excellent guide, and the tour was very worthwhile

Had a great trip with Ward to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. The whole day was really enjoyable, and Ward was the perfect guide; really informative, even for tips and recommendations elsewhere in Vegas for the rest of my stay. The only downside, which had nothing at all with One Day Tours or Ward, was the service (or significant lack of) in the restaurant at the Sky Walk at the Grand Canyon - really poor, but the food was ok, and it didn’t take the shine off the day, as everyone else was really friendly and accommodating. Thanks again, Ward, cracking tour!

A real experience - Grand Canyon from the air and ground.

Well organised flight, Boulder airport is a 30 min drive out of Las Vegas. The pilot Mitch was friendly, informative and professional. The scenery over the Hoover Dam and then flying into the Grand Canyon was marvellous, setting down in the Canyon and then walking around the landing area, experiencing the majesty of the canyon walls rising above you. A real experience.
