This cruise was the absolute best!!!! We were running late because we couldn’t find where we were supposed to go but luckily we found it and the captain allowed us on. And thank God he did! The views were absolutely breathtaking! The crew was fun and the kept the bubbly flowing!! Bring a jacket!!

Very nice cruise. Smaller than most so a little more intimate. Prosecco was nice, not at sweet as I’ve had before. Crew did a great job keeping drinks filled.

am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding our sunset cruise on Friday, 30 January. In addition to the overall poor service and lack of basic ambience (including no music onboard), we experienced rude and racially offensive behaviour from a staff member named Nico. His conduct was unprofessional, dismissive, and made members of our group feel uncomfortable and disrespected. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and has no place in any service environment, particularly one that promotes itself as a luxury experience. We expected professionalism, courtesy, and inclusivity — none of which were demonstrated. I would appreciate this matter being taken seriously and would like to know what steps will be taken to address both the service shortcomings and the conduct of the staff member involved. I look forward to your urgent response.

Dear Waterfront Charters Management, This correspondence serves as a formal notice of complaint and demand for a full refund arising from your failure to render the prepaid service contracted with us. We booked and paid in advance for a luxury sunset cruise. Due to a flight delay, we made repeated and reasonable attempts to contact your offices prior to the scheduled departure time to notify you of the delay. These attempts were unsuccessful due to your lack of availability and failure to respond. Upon eventually making contact, we were informed that no accommodation could be made. We arrived only five (5) minutes late, yet were advised that the vessel had waited twenty (20) minutes, which is factually incorrect. This misrepresentation, coupled with the lack of communication, constitutes unacceptable conduct for a prepaid luxury service. We travelled from Durban specifically for this experience and had limited availability in Cape Town. It is further noted that reviews published as recently as last week reflect that other customers were proactively contacted by your team prior to departure under similar circumstances. This indicates inconsistent, selective, and unfair service delivery. In terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, we were entitled to: • Receive the service as agreed and paid for; • Fair, honest, and transparent communication; and • A refund where services are not rendered due to supplier non-performance. While we initially indicated willingness to consider an alternative cruise, this is no longer feasible due to time constraints. As the contracted service was not rendered, we hereby formally demand a full refund of the amount paid. Should this matter not be resolved within 7 (seven) business days of receipt of this correspondence, we reserve our rights to escalate the matter to the National Consumer Commission, relevant tourism bodies, and other appropriate channels without further notice. We await your written confirmation of the refund.

The Best! The crew and captain was a true blessing. I would recommend this cruise and crew a thousand times. The wine was plentiful, the crew assisted with walking along the boat and even when my had flew off my head the captain turn the boat around to try and find it. That touch my heart even though we were unsuccessful. I have a fabulous time.

We were ejected from our booking because of a group

We were ejected from our original booking (made 2 months ago) because of a group BUT before that they made us run from quay 5 to quay 6 making believe that we were still on the same boat. When boarding (and only then!!) the crew told us that our booking was shifted to another of their boats which had already departed. They were not sure if they were returning to pick us up - which they finally fortunately did. But it was too much uncertainty and not very relaxing. Also the cruise was at that point only one hour and not 1.5 hours. Very dissappointed.

This was a great experience. Executed very professionally and they served my favoritest champagne. The sunset was absolutely amazing. Only problem was I LET MY PHONE BATTERY DIE and only have a few beautiful pics of CapeTown’s night skyline. This tour was well worth the price and effort it took to get there.

The boat ride was very smooth though it was quite windy. The crew is super friendly and we were well served with drinks. The only thing is that I imagined we would make it more further out to Camps Bay but after all it is just 1.5h.

The catamaran was beautiful and very comfortable. The prosecco was poured immediately and we set sail on time. The journey was smooth and we stopped, facing west, just as the sun was setting. The only thing that spoiled the trip were other passengers constantly posing for Instagram photos and videos, spoiling everybody else's view. When the started dancing and grinding by the pole in front of me, I had to tell them that enough was enough as they were spoiling our experience. By this time we were well on our way back. I think the crew should have stopped this sooner. We paid to enjoy a sunset, not a photoshoot!!

WOW - this is a must do as from start to finish the boat cruise was excellent. My good lady and I decided to do this at the end of our holiday and were left with outstanding memories. Very easy to get tickets then were straight onto boat which was not over filled just to get folks on board. Could choose where to sit plus easily move around once moving. All crew very friendly and eager to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable experience, got x2 glasses of bubbles which were lovely. Left on time and returned later than scheduled so excellent value for money. It also helps when you get an outstanding sunset plus joined by a Southern Right Whale at close quarters !!

The views were beautiful and the proseco lovely. Be prepared for a party vibe and guests having a ball. We were told that the cruise would go to the clifton beaches and past Robben island which didn’t happen (maybe because we left late waiting for other guests)? Cruise was just over an hour. I would however still recommend this activity!
