Clair our tour guide made...
Clair our tour guide made it such an amazing experience exploring the old and new parts of Shanghai. Going through the history and culture of the city in a way that made it quite enjoyable. Equally enjoyable was the time spent on the new & modern wonders of Shanghai. Highly recommend the tour and the tour guide.

Learning Chinese with Mrs. Snow
We really loved travelling around with Snow and Shi Fu. Snow was a great tour guide super friendly, taught us lots of Chinese and was super helpful in everything we did. It was the one of the most comfortable tours I’ve ever done before. The day before we decided to do some activities ourselves that would be on the tour because of the labour holiday chaos. Snow adapted to our schedule of what we had already done and brought us to new places we hadn’t been before. Over the course of one day we saw a variety of Shanghai’s best highlights with the comfort of a very spacious car. The restaurant we went to was great, the food was the best Chinese food I’ve had ever and we ate a crazy amount of high quality food. Here are the words that I enjoyed butchering over the course of our event filled day ( Bo shu “great” PO Rian “beautiful” yo chuu “interesting” tsusou “toilet” how wan “interesting”). I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have a great time in Shanghai.

We had an incredible half-day in Shanghai with Wing! Her knowledge of Chinese history, religion, and the various imperial dynasties is truly impressive and added so much depth to the historic sites we visited. Beyond the landmarks, she organized a wonderful traditional tea ceremony and a fascinating silk production demonstration. We also truly appreciated our candid conversations about life in modern China, which gave us a well-rounded perspective on the country. If you are looking for a guide who is both scholarly and engaging, we highly recommend her

Our tour guide Jim was...
Our tour guide Jim was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant! He fielded many questions both food and non-food related and shared fun anecdotes related to my family’s interests. We only wished that we had taken this tour earlier in our trip because it was so much fun and informative. I’m not sure if different tours or available through this operator, but I would sign up for more to bring us through different historical sites or neighborhoods based on the wonderful experience we had.

Bridging past snd present
Robert was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodative. I came to see Zhujiajiao with my 87 year old Mom who was born in China. Robert communicated in both English and Mandarin and bridged the gap between modern China and the past when asked questions by my Mom (in Mandarin) and by me (in English). The trip brought back memories which my Mom shared with Robert and myself that added a personal layer to the trip. My Mom especially appreciated the delicious lunch because some of the vegetable dishes my Mom has not eaten in a long time because the vegetables are not available outside of China. It was a truly a wonderful unique experience that Robert was able to provide for both my Mom and me.

We had an amazing...
We had an amazing experience on this Great Wall tour—it was a long day, but completely stress-free from start to finish. The service was incredibly well organized. Our driver picked us up right from our hotel in Shanghai and personally walked us into the train station and onto the train, making sure we were settled into our seats.
When we arrived in Beijing, Sunny and her driver were waiting for us right at the station exit, which made everything seamless. From the moment we met her, Sunny stood out—she is warm, engaging, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. The drive to the Great Wall was relaxing, and she shared interesting history and insights about China in a way that felt natural and never overwhelming.
After a quick lunch, Sunny guided us along the wall at a pace that felt perfect for us. She was incredibly attentive, checked in often, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. She also took amazing photos and videos—honestly some of our favorites from the whole trip—and knew all the best spots.
What really made the day special was Sunny herself. She has such a positive, easygoing personality that made everything feel effortless and enjoyable. It never felt rushed or overly structured—just a really great day with a fantastic guide.
At the end of the day, everything was just as smooth—she made sure we got to our train at the Beijing station, and when we arrived in Shanghai, our driver was already waiting to take us back to our hotel.
If you’re staying in Shanghai and want a stress-free, well-organized, and genuinely enjoyable way to see the Great Wall, this is absolutely the way to do it. Highly recommend!

Awesome day trip to...
Awesome day trip to Hangzhou with Kimi. Entire experience was super well organized and Kimi communicated great across our group of English and Mandarin speakers. Saw many sites within a condensed period and lunch was the best we've had on a tour like this.

Beautiful afternoon on last day of our China trip
It was our best experience of a week in China. The communication with the company was good. Our guide Snow picked us up from the Shanghai bazaar. The car was impeccable, the driver Shen was very professional and helpful. The walking tour was substantial with a beautiful boat ride. Memorable visit to the Ma garden. We did some unexpected shopping and Snow assisted with it. The dinner was delicious. We had an afternoon tour just before flying back. It left us with warm feelings of China. Thank you!

Our guide Taaffy” was wonderful and helped us so much. She gave us explanation of everything she took us to see.
I would let other travelers know that this tour is very demanding physically. I’m proud of myself for making it. The wall was incredible to see and the garden was beautiful and worth it.

Good by day - spectacular by night
First half was an 1 hour cruise around the river - majority of buildings are covered in led's and whole area becomes both very colourful and atmospheric.
Second part is a road transfer to Yu Garden where the buildings are all bathed in pastel light, this highlighting their ancient design.
So that was the trip, but the whole event was made more than special by our guide 'Autumn'. Not only did she queue for hours during the afternoon before picking us up - this to ensure we had the best 'VIP' boat seating, she also managed to get us into all the Yu Garden areas before all the throngs of tourists arrived.
Finally she added another walk around the magically lite French Concession area. The whole trip was simply superb.

A very well organised day in Suzhou!
Kimi was a brilliant guide. The day was well organised and delivered, and Kimi explained everything in English really well. Lunch was also spectacular, so make sure you are hungry! All the vehicles we went in were very clean and organised well, and we really enjoyed seeing so much of Suzhou in one day. Thank you Kimi!

Excellent Private Tour through Zhujiajiao
Bill was our personal (three of us) guide through Zhujiajiao. He was excellent. Fluent English speaker, with no accent, which made easy to talk to him and understand his comments. Knowledgeable about the history and sites in the town. Tour included transportation via Didi (their Uber), private tour through the town, entry into a garden museum, boat ride, and a simple dumpling lunch, all for a reasonable price. What I liked best was that Bill was very communicative, via WeChat, before the tour so I could ask questions before the trip regarding precise details for pick up times, who to expect to pick us up, where, etc.. Originally we were suppose to meet with the driver at another hotel , but Bill willingly arranged for our pick-up at the hotel where we were staying. If you want a private, very good tour guide, who is personable, friendly, accommodating
and professional, Bill is your guy! Great tour!

Known as “The Paris of the East,” Shanghai is China's biggest and most prosperous city. Even the locals can’t do it all. That’s why Shanghai tours are the best way to maximize your time. Instead of looking down at a map, let your expert guide show you around sites such as the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden, and the Jade Buddha Temple. Or opt for a food tour through the French Concession, a cruise on the Zhujiajiao canals, or even a day trip to Beijing, where you can walk on the Great Wall of China.
