The bus ride was fast and comfortable and the time allocated for the park was enough to explore pretty much everything. I booked without a guide but Rachel still helped me find all the places I was looking for and made sure I enjoyed my time.

This was a great tour for K Drama fans. Rachel our guide was excellent. She made it a fun tour with lots of information as we walked through the historical outdoor movie sets. There was plenty of time for photos. Driver and bus made the transport smooth and comfortable. The music and videos on the bus were an added bonus.

Amazing tour for a kdrama fan like me. The tour brings back scenes from my fave shows like Mr. Queen and Alchemy of Souls. Rachel (our tour guide) made the tour very note and enjoyable at the same time. I would totally recommend it to anyone who loves to watch dramas.

Sophie was our guide for the morning. She did a great job of showing us around the property in an organized fashion; it’s a surprisingly big place. Every corner is picture worthy! The morning light makes for phenomenal photos, so don’t complain that the tour is too early. Make sure to sign up for the tour with a guide; there’s an option for just transportation or transportation with a guide. They’ll remind you which Kdrama scenes took place in which specific areas.

Tour guide Sophie was fantastic, at first she was a little confused why I booked this since I've never seen Dae Jang Keum or the BTS guy's video, but I am interested in filming sites and such so it was fascinating to see huge a large complex that looks real from afar or on TV but can see it's all movie magic up close. There was a cancellation so Sophie ended up being my personal tour guide which was great. Obviously knowledgeable about the site and various things that have filmed here but she also has extensive knowledge about USA cinema and French cinema and also has interest in visiting filming locations so we had a lot of film stuff to talk about. Great tour and was far more interesting than I had anticipated!

Great tour- really enjoyed it. Mr Kim was very knowledgeable. The bus transport was clean and also very warm on a freezing cold morning. The outdoor film set was very interesting to see with some beautiful surrounding scenery.

Amazing place to visit. Our Tour guide Leo was very helpful and gave us lots of information about the various building sets that they have there. The quiz game that everyone on the bus played while travelling there was perfect, which was about Kdrama Actors/Pop Singers, was a much Welcomed Bonus. I travelled to Seoul with a friend from England for a holiday with my friend, and being a fan of Kdrama/Kpop and the visit to Dae jang Geum Park was a must for me. Leo spoke perfect English and was friendly and chatted with everyone, answered many questions that were asked by the group and told us lots about the Drama Shows/Movies that were filmed there. Chloe was exceptional. She knew exactly which scene was shot where and showed clips of drama on the way to refresh our memory. She was funny, perfect guide and made sure where each member of the tour were but still giving us time to explore on ourselves. BTS tour was amazing as well and she might have earned BTS new army members. Even though she has done these tours many times, she still was as excited as her first tour ......just wonderful, and on top of that she is very good photographer too....😊

First, I want to thank our guide, Leo, because the way he explain things and all the curiosities he told us were fantastic. He knew all the dramas and scenes that were filmed in each place. The Drama Set is impressive and as historical Kdrama fans we really had a great time. There were some filming on going (yey!), so we even had the chance to see some actors from afar :).
Leo helped us recreate some scenes from Suga's MV Daetchwita and some dramas and we had a lot of fun with him. Even during the trip to/from the set he played some games with us.
If you are a fan of k-dramas or Suga, definetly this is your Tour.

This tour did not match the Viator description in any way. The “set” has been unused since 2018, but more importantly the tour guide could not tell us ONE LOCATION where ANYTHING was filmed. We were so mad. She knew nothing except to talk about this is in the Joseon style, etc. You also have to pay extra to ride in a cart to the top of this very steep hill or have a heart attack trying to walk it. We were expecting signs saying, “This is the house used in 100 Days My Prince, etc.” Or the guided tour pointing out where things were filmed. But NO. Very few nebulous signs. The guide knew nothing about anything. We finally got so mad, we went back to the bus. We also skipped the BTS Tour portion because we thought, Well, she will point to a tree and say, Once J Hope climbed a tree. $321 down the drain. We are all bitter towards Viator for out and out ripping us off with an absolute falsehood of a tour description. It’s 90 minutes there, and 90 minutes back. Three hours wasted looking at old sets and not knowing what it is. Grrrrrrr

a drama, ‘The Red Sleeve’ officially until 2021
Unofficially, this drama set has been used for various K-dramas.

Being a K-drama fan, visiting the MBC Dae Jang Geum Park drama set was a must! It usually takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the park in normal traffic conditions. The park itself is beautifully designed on a steep hill. Transportation is provided (at an additional fee) to the top, so that you can explore and wander amongst the various and diverse film sets as you travel down hill. Heidi’s added commentary and insights made the sets come alive and made the day one to remember.

The guide was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. As a K-Drama fan it was great to see some of the sets of my favourite dramas. The terrain was steep and there are a lot of steps but the pace is leisurely. Beautiful photo ops!

We had a great time on the half day tour. Communication was great, the bus was comfortable and Connie, our tour guide was great! She was knowledgeable and very nice. The site was interesting and since I was excited to see where Agust D filmed the video it made for a great experience overall. They were actually filming a drama on the day we visited, so that was extra interesting… we saw lots of extras and all the equipment. I can only recommend this tour. Lots of stairs though… 🤣

Other than pick-up/drop off the tour was poorly organized. Description of Dae Jang Geum did not indicate the terrain was so hilly that a shuttle car was required to view the entire site. Shuttle car availability was "hit/miss" with an additional charge for its use. The only coffee shop/restaurant was at the top with no real rest area at the bottom. The Tour needs to provide a better description of what the movie set offers for visitors.

Our tour guide was excellent, she was able to explain the history behind the buildings and even the different dynasties that ruled Korea. Her English was very good.
We enjoyed the set tour because it felt like we were walking the streets of a period drama! A big bonus, that day there was a drama being filmed, we actually saw the streets lined with props and actors waiting for their cue. We were still able to walk through the different parts of the set, away from the filming, and had to stop and wait for about 10 minutes as they were filming in an area we had to go through. However, it was neat to see and hear from a higher vantage point above the filming area the actual filming taking place. (It seemed to be a peasant uprising in the streets).
A fellow tourist in our group, who visited the real palaces in Seoul prior to the set tour, told us to take advantage of taking pictures there without crowds in our photos because the set looked exactly the same as the real palaces (just on a smaller scale).
We went to the real palaces in Seoul a few days later and have to agree, being so crowded every photo we took had tons of people in the background.
We purchased the 1/2 day tour, which was a nice leisurely stroll through the drama set, not rushed at all.
Another advantage with the tour, because you're on a tour bus, the freeways have a designated lane just for buses, so we literally were going at full speed while the other lanes were either stopped or crawling very slowly to get back into Seoul.
I would definitely recommend this tour!

This tour tickled the K-drama fangirling in me and my daughter. We chose to take the buggy ride to the top, then walked down, stopping at each site. Jung was a fun guide, as she narrated the drama scenes that were shot at the different spots. She also explained the differences of the structures, depending on the dynasty. She was likewise very kind - always offering to take our photos while sharing various tidbits about the stars. The views were enhanced by patches of cherry blossoms still in bloom. We highly recommend this tour for fans of Korean historical dramas. Thanks, Jung, for the highlight of our K-drama experience.

Calling all Jewel in the Palace, Yi San, Dong Yi and Flower in Prison fans! The guide was very knowledgeable about the dramas that was filmed here, pointing out which scene from which drama that took place in the different sets.

The location was interesting. Unfortunately there was no filming on the day, it think it would have been alot more interesting if there had been. Our tour guide tried hard, she was nice, her English was good but not great, so had difficulty answering our questions. She mainly concentrated on telling us about the village as if it was a cultural village, rather than a film set. It would have been more interesting if she had some information about different dramas as well.
