The DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) serves as a buffer between North and South Korea, and this tour gives you access to this highly restricted area. Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle while learning about Korean history. Visit the Dora Observatory, where you can see North Korea on clear days, and have the option to visit the Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge and ride a gondola too.

- Please bring a valid passport of every participant, including infants(0-3). If you do not have your passport with 6 months or longer validity, you cannot join this tour.
- Infants(0-3) should be counted as 1 person for the tour.
- The exact drop-off time and location can be changed depending on the traffic situation.
- If you have heart disease/leg/back/respiratory problems, you cannot enter the 3rd tunnel. It needs an intermediate level of hiking.
- Monorail is NOT available.
- This tour can be canceled because of weather or political situation. In this case, your tour will be rescheduled or be fully refunded.
- The type of vehicle can be changed depending on the number of participants.
- If the 3rd Tunnel is unavailable, it can be changed to another destination.
- Every Monday, we will visit the 2nd tunnel, Peace Observatory, Woljeongri station, and suspension bridge.
- Every Tue-Sun, we will visit the 3rd tunnel, Dora Observatory, Unification Village with gondola or suspension bridge options depending on what you select.
- The itinerary of this tour excludes the transportation time between destinations.
- Please discuss the size & number of your luggage in advance with us, if you are going to bring yours.
- "Unforeseen events" for reschedule or a refund means political situations or extreme weather or unexpected event in the destination. It does not mean the participants' sudden sickness or rainy or snowy weather.
- Pets cannot be accommodated.
- If you have any leg or heart problem, you may not go down to the 3rd tunnel. It is the same level of 30 mins hiking.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 999 travelers

Patrick is very handsome! Seriously one of the absolute best tour guides I have ever experienced. My family has been to 4 continents & over 25 countries, hands down Patrick was amazing. Great English and very easy to understand. As others have mentioned picking the right time of year and day is helpful for a a full experience, but that has nothing to do with Patrick or the Tour itself. It was a great cultural and historical tour that told us more than just sightseeing tour. We traveled with 3 adults and 2 teenagers and had no issues with mobility. We walked 11k steps just over 5.8 miles. This is not an easy tour if you have mobility issues. We chose the Suspension Bridge, Gondola, and DMZ Observatory. I highly recommend you do this tour. Please for the love of Patrick be on time. Other people arriving late impacts everyone. I recommend packing a light lunch and snacks as you will be on the go most of the day. Again absolutely amazing tour and trip. Truly blessed to have gone on this one.

Basically everything ran late. Pick up was late, meetings after break time were late, and we got back later than anticipated. Our tour guide was all over the place and honestly quite rude to other people outside of our tour group. Not to mention, the bus drive was a nightmare. The driver kept taking wrong turns and driving in a way that made the bus skid. Overall, would recommend a different guide. He was a nice guy, but the tour didn't run smoothly at all and he often disappeared.

Roy and Mac were fantastic guides and we really enjoyed the tour. We saw everything and it was a small group so it was quite comfortable. We did the suspension bridge really early and there was no other group there which was great! Definitely recommend going on this tour.

Please be on time for this activity. There are a lot of tourists in the bus and you need to be on time for the DMZ tickets which have strict time slots.
Also, I would NOT recommend this tour for the slow elderly/disabled. There is a lot of strenuous hiking for 10 to 20 minutes throughout this tour. You don’t have to do the hiking, but then you miss out on the experience. Especially for the third tunnel, it is very steep down, and you have to walk the very steep incline back, around 350 meters in each direction. It is also slightly wet and slippery. Very amazing experience though.

We had a great day with Roy. He was friendly and knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about the DMZ. There was quite a lot of walking involved in this trip so be prepared! We also opted not to do the gondola as we thought it would shorten the overall length of the trip but we were offered free time while the rest of the group did the gondola. We ended up paying to add this on and Roy kindly sorted this for us. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would recommend this trip to others.

It was a fabulous tour with lots of activities but the best part was our tour guide Ki. He had so much knowledge and explained everything so well.
He was kind and helpful and even kept our teenagers engaged.
He was serious about the sad war stories but was also very entertaining with some jokes thrown in a few light stories. 5 stars to Ki.

Great educational experience! I love how there are multiple places to see on this tour. I learned a lot from the sites as well as from my tour guide. The trip will include some shops and a lunch stop to purchase a meal. Monday is a Tunnel 2 tour while Tuesday to Sunday is the Tunnel 3 tour. Lastly, my tour guide was very accommodating, friendly, and timely. A must do tour when in Seoul.
