The DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) serves as a buffer between North and South Korea, and this tour gives you access to this highly restricted area. Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle while learning about Korean history. Visit the Dora Observatory, where you can see North Korea on clear days, and have the option to visit the Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge and ride a gondola too.

- Please bring a valid passport of every participant, including infants(0-3). If you do not have your passport with 6 months or longer validity, you cannot join this tour.
- Infants(0-3) should be counted as 1 person for the tour.
- The exact drop-off time and location can be changed depending on the traffic situation.
- If you have heart disease/leg/back/respiratory problems, you cannot enter the 3rd tunnel. It needs an intermediate level of hiking.
- Monorail is NOT available.
- This tour can be canceled because of weather or political situation. In this case, your tour will be rescheduled or be fully refunded.
- The type of vehicle can be changed depending on the number of participants.
- If the 3rd Tunnel is unavailable, it can be changed to another destination.
- Every Monday, we will visit the 2nd tunnel, Peace Observatory, and suspension bridge.
- Every Tue-Sun, we will visit the 3rd tunnel, Dora Observatory, Unification Village with gondola or suspension bridge options depending on what you select.
- The itinerary of this tour excludes the transportation time between destinations.
- Pets cannot be accommodated.
- The tour is operated in rainy or snowy or windy weather.
- Cancellation and refunds are not available within 24 hours of departure time for the following reasons: sudden illness, flight delay, weather changes such as rain, snow, or wind, personal reasons, incorrect booking, or other cases where there are no issues with the tour operation.
- If you have any leg or heart problem, you may not go down to the 3rd tunnel. It is the same level of 30 mins hiking.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 999 travelers

This was a great tour of the DMZ and provided important information about the Korean War. Danny was the best guide - super knowledgable and funny, and very responsive via WhatsApp prior to the tour. Highly recommend this to anyone interested!

Our guide, Danny, was amazing! He was kind, knowledgable, and made the trip super fun! He explained when we would have bathroom and snacks breaks. We asked him tons of questions about issues between north and South Korea. I learned SO much on this trip! Super memorable.

Andrew did a great job providing directions the day before and was very quick with his responses. Throughout the tour he offered to take photos and provided the history behind historical landmarks. Enjoyed the DMZ tour and the best part was the gondola ride. Surprised not very many people opted for this unique opportunity. Be prepared to walk up and down steep hills. According to my Apple Watch, walked five miles and climbed 60 stories worth of hills. I’m glad I did not bring my elderly father. Great for those who are moderately fit.

Well organized tour, restrooms and kiosks at every stop. Andrew was a great guide! How much you get to see can be subject to the weather, so take that into consideration when booking.

Had a great time on the DMZ and 2nd Tunnel tour with Danny Suh. Super friendly guy, happy to answer every question, and you can tell he really knows what he’s talking about from having done his military service himself. He mixed history with some fun stories and made the whole experience much more interesting. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Korea. Highly recommend Danny if you’re planning to visit the DMZ!

We had a great experience with Danny, seeing all the sites and history of the DMZ area including going in 3rd tunnel and cool suspension bridge. My 6 and 7 year old really enjoyed the activities too. It was a fun overall tour, I would recommend it.

All day tour (6:35am PU to 4:30pm drop-off). Wear comfortable shoes as there will be lots of walking and some hiking as well. You’ll be taken to the DMZ and walking/hiking into tunnel 2 or 3. Lunch may or may not be included, depending of your particular package. If not included, you can pay for it at the restaurant. Then you will hike Mt Gamaksan to the red suspension bridge.

Despite the trip being a whirlwind from Seoul, it's very worth a visit. The tunnel was in itself worth the visit. Our kind and energetic tour guide/driver ensured that we all were able to make the visit. (I joined this tour after taking a 7-day group tour around South Korea and spending an extra few days in Seoul after. The DMZ is it's own element to take in...)

Patrick is very handsome! Seriously one of the absolute best tour guides I have ever experienced. My family has been to 4 continents & over 25 countries, hands down Patrick was amazing. Great English and very easy to understand. As others have mentioned picking the right time of year and day is helpful for a a full experience, but that has nothing to do with Patrick or the Tour itself. It was a great cultural and historical tour that told us more than just sightseeing tour. We traveled with 3 adults and 2 teenagers and had no issues with mobility. We walked 11k steps just over 5.8 miles. This is not an easy tour if you have mobility issues. We chose the Suspension Bridge, Gondola, and DMZ Observatory. I highly recommend you do this tour. Please for the love of Patrick be on time. Other people arriving late impacts everyone. I recommend packing a light lunch and snacks as you will be on the go most of the day. Again absolutely amazing tour and trip. Truly blessed to have gone on this one.

This DMZ tour was so amazing and very educational. Expect a little bit of a hike but it was fun and manageable.Our tour guide Patrick was phenomenal.He was well prepared, knowledgeable and well spoken.

Basically everything ran late. Pick up was late, meetings after break time were late, and we got back later than anticipated. Our tour guide was all over the place and honestly quite rude to other people outside of our tour group. Not to mention, the bus drive was a nightmare. The driver kept taking wrong turns and driving in a way that made the bus skid. Overall, would recommend a different guide. He was a nice guy, but the tour didn't run smoothly at all and he often disappeared.
