Hanki (Eugene) was an amazing tour guide that was full of amazing information. During his tour he would show us pictures and give us additional context and information in regards to every place we visited! I could tell that he loves what he does, and loves sharing information about his Korean heritage. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning more about Korean history.

Absolutely loved the tour, also Eugene the tour guide was very informative and spoke very good English (which is rare in Seoul). He was also funny, patient and gave us insights that other tour guides would not normally provide.

Eugene was a phenomenal guide—deeply knowledgeable, organized, and engaging. His storytelling made the DMZ and Suspension Bridge an unforgettable experience. The only downside was the logistics: the tour dropped us off a 25-minute walk away from the original pickup location. It would be a huge improvement to finish where we started, but aside from that, Eugene made it an awesome day!

We had booked a DMZ tour but found out a few days prior that the DMZ was closed due to a marathon event. We opted to do the “alternative tour” and we were not disappointed. Dora was a very fun and knowledgeable tour guide. She shared a lot of stories and information in a fun way, that both my parents and my children could enjoy! The alternative tour included the peace park with a gondola ride, a question and answer time with a North Korean Defector, and we ended the tour at the Odusan Unification Tower. My mom said this experience was the highlight of her trip to Korea. Thanks, Dora!

Our DMZ tour with Katie was one of the highlights of our trip to South Korea. From the moment the tour began, she was engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the history and significance of the DMZ. It was a busy day but very interesting and engaging. Our guide Katie was energetic and knowledgeable and managed to even keep the kid’s attention.
Sadly the JAS is closed but there is more than enough in the DMZ to make it a very worthwhile day

I am giving 5-star to our tour guide Miel. Her organizational skills, preparedness and assistance was commendable. The tour itself is a bit tourist catching you may see pictures with happy faces stepping over a line between North/Aouth Korea but in reality you can barely come close to the DMZ and with binoculars look over to front line to look at two flags and some distant villages. If you really want to “check the box” you were at the DMZ take this day trip but all the history and conte t you can just learn by being in Seoul or other parts of the country.

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience to learn deeply about the Korean culture and its history of how it became two separate nations. Our tour guide Erica at Seoul City Your was very knowledgeable and well versed in the history of DMZ. She made everyone feel at ease and comfortable.
The driver of the bus did an amazing job as well for us. As a Korean born who moved to the US at an early age, coming back as an adult to learn more about the country and especially about the DMZ, I felt the deep root of Korean culture connecting again.
I highly recommend this tour who would like to learn more about the history about the two Koreas.

Very interesting tour. Really liked the session with the NK defector. The tunnel was much more strenuous than I thought it would be. Very steep path into the tunnel. Coming back up was quite a workout!

I had an amazing experience on the DMZ tour with Seoul City Tours! From start to finish, the tour was extremely well-organized and ran smoothly. Our guide Yeoni was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and had a great sense of humor that made the historical content both engaging and easy to absorb.
The tour itself was packed with fascinating information about the Korean War, the division of the peninsula, and the ongoing tensions and efforts toward peace. Each stop was meaningful, and Yeoni provided plenty of context and stories that really brought the history to life.
Transportation was comfortable, the schedule was well-paced, and there was just the right amount of time at each location. I especially appreciated how Yeoni balanced seriousness with light moments to keep the group engaged.
