The BEST time!

My husband and I chose to do this experience as part of our honeymoon in Santorini. I can say that it was the best decision we could have made! Pavlos our tour guide, was very kind, easy going and made us feel like we were just talking to a friend the entire time. We got to see a side of Santorini that we would not have found on our own. Including the villages, all the animals and the local spots. Pavlos also took amazing photos and videos of us! This experience is definitely A MUST when coming to Santorini.

I am a big fan of food tours that combine local history with culture and cuisine. This tour delivers and checks all the boxes. Communication with guides is excellent from booking to tour. Sampling foods with other travellers was a delight, and our guide was full of interesting facts and helpful tips on Greek culture. You can skip breakfast and lunch since you will not leave hungry! Also a great first day activity to get your bearings around Santorini and tourist advice from your guide. Highly recommend!

Take this tour instead of expensive cruise ship alternatives

Alex is a fantastic guide, friendly and knowledgeable. Shared all his favourite sites on the island as well. Was attentive to everyone, took photos of us in our phones, just an all round nice guy. Everything went like clockwork. We ended up with extra time to swim and eat at the end, at the black beach. Just a wonderful day. Highly recommended if you are in a cruise ship as you didn't have to line up at the tram and pay 20 euro round trip, but instead went by boat. Much nicer! There's nothing negative I can say. Alex is the man and Christo was a wonderful and safe driver!

The BEST tour of Santorini!

This was a 5 hour tour of Santorini with ability to customize the experience. OUTSTANDING tour! Dimitris was our guide and EXCELLENT. Truly knowledgeable, friendly, professional, engaging. Very safe driver. We enjoyed him immensely! Our chosen itinerary was a visit to Fira (we were staying in Oia, pickup there included with drop off later, seamless!), Church of the Three Bells, on to Akrotiri archeological site- well worth the €20 ticket). We spent a hour there. Then on to black sand beach, the Monastery of the Prophet Elias (highest point on Santorini, beautiful), finished with glass of one at Santo Winery with a little charcuterie. We could not have enjoyed this tour more. Dimitris knows this island well and has any variety of sights and places to customize your tour anyway you wish. We loved that. It has high marks on Viator by reviewers and no wonder why now. We are from USA and Dimitris spoke English fluently and clearly. I think we can be tough critics most of the time in these types of tours, but this hit all the marks. Hope you enjoy it too!

Best tour of Santorini!

This was an amazing 10-hour tour with our brilliant guide, Gregory. We visited different parts of Santorini and were given plenty of time at each stop to explore and take photos. Gregory has a wealth of knowledge and a true passion for this beautiful island; we learned so much interesting information from him about both local life and history. We were so pleased that we decided to pay the extra fee for the interactive and extremely fun musical show at Symposion. If you are unsure about booking it, honestly, go for it—you will not be disappointed! The included wine tasting was also a lovely part of the tour. We tried some wonderful wines and had the opportunity to purchase them at the end. The sunset in Oia was the perfect end to the day. We had plenty of time to look around Oia before finding a prime spot to view the sunset, and Gregory gave us some great tips on where to go. I couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough, and having Gregory as our guide was the best decision we made! Thank you Gregory!

It's a small,...

It's a small, semi-private group tour but we got lucky since there were no cruise ships docked on the day of our tour. We had the tour guide/driver to ourselves and he did a great job of taking us to see the main sites of Oia, Imerovigli and Firostefani. We got some great stories and interesting history behind each of the stops and we were able to explore Oia at leisure for about an hour.

Best Tour Guide and Private Tour Company over Two Weeks in Greece!

I cannot share enough positives about the experience we received from our tour of Santorini provided by Kallisti Private Tours. While most passengers on our cruise ship were displeased with their tour experience provided by the cruiseline, it was our favorite experience over two weeks in Greece. Theodore, our driver, was extremely informative, engaging, and knew how to navigate the city in efficient ways and avoid big crowds and long lines. We hit all of the typically crowded tourist areas before the crowds, took a fabulous winery tour and tasting, shopped where the Greek pottery is actually made, and ate at a great restaurant on the beech. Our deepest gratitude goes to Theodore and Kallisti Private Tours for a day of special memories. We give them our highest recommendation without reservation!

Santorini highlights tour

This was a very thorough tour of the island of Santorini. We went to Oia, the monetary, Megalochori, a winery and opted for the archeological site of Akrotiri as well. Our guide, Theo, did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable. It was just a little long, from 9 am to 6 pm. The wine tasting was wonderful and we could have ended the tour there and had lunch. No opportunity for lunch was provided, so we were pretty hungry by the end. Well worth it but just know you will spend the whole day!

Sara was one of the best guides ever. You must request her if you can. The tour is long and well worth the money. They will tailor to your desires. We enjoyed an exceptional and picturesque tour of Santorini, and our driver and guide Angelo significantly enhanced our experience by collecting us from the airport. The tour comprehensively covered the entirety of the island, with Angelo leading us to all prominent attractions and optimal photography locations. This included a guided walking tour of Oia, which is accessible on foot or by donkey, and he introduced us to an excellent gelato establishment. Angelo provided clear explanations throughout the journey, and the walking tour at the Akrotiri Archaeological Site was particularly noteworthy. The tour was characterized by numerous highlights, all experienced without undue haste, and concluded with a mid-afternoon meal at the stunning Perivolos Beach, at Angelo's recommended restaurant, Forty one 41, situated on the beach's edge.
