This tour was a diverse sampling of good local foods with the historical traditions well explained by Elania our expert guide. Sweet, savory, tapas, to larger Santorini dishes in the hidden favorite places of the Greek locals were sampled. Local traditional coffee, beer, wine and Ouzo were also sampled. Come hungry and pace yourself this was a food tour unlike any other! Elania was superb! Her stories and breadth of knowledge about food and history was first rate impressive. I learned so much and walked away absolutely stuffed!!
A fun tour full of cultural information, laughter, interesting food and even some drinks! The four hours went by in a blink and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lena our tour guide was lovely and full of her personal stories which were funny and a privilege to share. Thank you so much - we loved you!

I am a big fan of food tours that combine local history with culture and cuisine. This tour delivers and checks all the boxes. Communication with guides is excellent from booking to tour. Sampling foods with other travellers was a delight, and our guide was full of interesting facts and helpful tips on Greek culture. You can skip breakfast and lunch since you will not leave hungry! Also a great first day activity to get your bearings around Santorini and tourist advice from your guide. Highly recommend!

Best tour in Santorini! You get so much authentic Greek food and drinks and our guide, Lana, was so knowledgeable. Her stories were so funny and her tips on where to eat and what to order were invaluable. Highly recommend this. Well worth the money.
This was a great choice! I’m glad I went with the ratings/recommendations here. Even my husband—who was skeptical when I told him I wanted to book— said it was a highlight of our time spent in Greece. Our guide Lena was fantastic— charming, knowledgeable, and fun! We did the tour our first morning (second day) in Santorini, and even decided to return to 3 of the restaurants later on during our week there.

This tour included more than delicious food. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful. She provided history on the island it's food, culture and information about the islands formation.
I wish I could leave more than 5 stars for Elena. She was a friendly, knowledgeable, and all around great guide. Food choices were good and you are indeed full by the end. It is a good walk around with views and winding market streets.

Fabulous day with Lena as our guide. Food and drinks were amazing and a lot of it! Come hungry! The views at the tables reserved were a definite plus! Special thanks to Lena our tour guide for loads of info and easy conversations! And thanks to the tour for waiting on our late arrival due to high winds. Knowledgable, great storyteller, humorous – and did I say the food was amazing! A fabulous tour with Lena in Santorini. A wide assortment of delicious Greek cuisine combined with local history made for a terrific day. From the best souvlaki I have ever tasted, to an olive oil tasting lesson — I'd recommend this tour with Lena!
This was a really good tour and you learn a lot about the different Greek cuisine, customs and culture. My entire family enjoyed the tour.

Amazing food and history! Gabriel was a fantastic host. He is funny, knowledgeable, and helpful. We went to 6 or 7 different locations along our walk and enjoyed every one of them. Would definitely recommend this small group tour to anyone stopping in Santorini!

This food and wine tour was one of the best experiences we had in Santorini and ended up being a highlight of our entire trip to Greece. If you enjoy food, local culture, beautiful scenery, and learning about the places you visit, I cannot recommend this tour enough!
From the very beginning, everything felt authentic and thoughtfully planned. We started the tour with traditional Greek coffee, which was such a fun and memorable introduction to the day. Our guide, Gabriel, explained the history and preparation behind it, and it immediately made the experience feel more personal and connected to the culture of Santorini.
One of my favorite parts of the tour was the olive oil tasting. I had no idea how much there was to learn about olive oil before this experience. Gabriel taught us how to properly taste olive oil, what qualities make one high quality, and how different flavors and aromas develop. It completely changed the way I think about olive oil, and it was fascinating hearing about its importance in Greek cuisine and culture.
The food overall was absolutely amazing. Every stop introduced us to authentic Greek flavors and fresh local ingredients. We tried delicious traditional dishes that felt homemade and genuinely representative of the island. Nothing felt overly commercialized or touristy. Each tasting felt intentional and carefully selected to showcase Santorini’s food culture.
The wine and beer tasting was also fantastic and paired perfectly with the food experiences. We learned so much about Santorini wines, especially how the volcanic soil and climate affect the grapes grown on the island. Gabriel was extremely informative and shared experience of growing up on the island. You could really tell how passionate he was about sharing the island’s traditions, food, and history with us.
Beyond the food and wine, the scenery throughout the tour was absolutely breathtaking. Every stop seemed to have incredible views of the caldera, the sea, vineyards, or the famous whitewashed buildings of Santorini. There were so many moments where we had to stop and just take everything in because it felt unreal. Having amazing food and wine while overlooking those views made the experience even more unforgettable.
Gabriel truly made this tour exceptional! He shared so much information about the island’s history, traditions, and culinary culture, and he made everyone feel comfortable and included throughout the day. At one point, we were all sharing pictures of our pets! It honestly felt like exploring Santorini with a knowledgeable local friend rather than simply being on a tour.
I would recommend this tour to absolutely anyone visiting the island, especially if you appreciate great food and want to learn more about Greek culture and traditions.
What a fantastic time with a wonderful group of fellow travelers! My experience actually began with a small hiccup—I booked the tour very last-minute and was later informed that the reservation couldn’t be honored because the group hadn’t reached capacity. Nonetheless, Laura handled everything professionally and arranged an alternative time that worked out perfectly. Actually, I would recommend an evening tour so that you can enjoy the stunning sunset.
From the moment the tour began, it felt less like a formal excursion and more like an afternoon out with friends. Gabriel, our guide, was engaging and so personable that he occasionally had to jokingly remind us we were actually on a schedule as we moved from one stop to the next.
It was immediately clear we were in great hands because Gabriel was greeted warmly by staff at each restaurant, which spoke volumes about both him and the relationships the tour company has built around Fira. Oh, the food was delicious from start to finish.

I loved this food tour for several reasons - amazing food and lovely restaurant stops - but what made it epic was Lena, our guide. She was INCREDIBLE! She’s truly one of a kind. I loved hearing her stories about her childhood and her family (and some very funny tales from her long career as a tour guide!) I’ve done so many tours and lots of great guides, but none as amazing as Lena. If you book this tour, you’re in for so much fun - thank you Lena, you’re the best!

Our Guide was Lena, we were lucky enough to come early in the season to have a private tour with her. She was funny and shared a lot of history with Santorini, the food we had was amazing! If you’re visiting Santorini definitely recommend the food tour in Fira as they take you to spots that the locals love!
Our guide, Leni (spelling?) was amazing. She shared so much fun information not only about food, but about Santorini and Greek culture. She was so cheerful and had great energy - it was the most engaging, thoughtful tour I have ever been apart of. The food was also amazing, a perfect sampling of Greek food and drink. Also worth noting, I don't drink and they were sure to offer other beverages (including the most divine homemade lemonade) at each spot that alcohol was offered. Would recommend and would go again, just to spend time with our host!
Lena is the best. Truly one of the best tours I have experienced. From the first cup of Greek coffee to the dessert the food, fun and conversation never stops. Thank you Lena for a wonderful time and a happy belly.
Our guide was Lena and she was great! She had wonderful stories and knowledge and we learned a lot from her. Traveling with her felt like traveling with a friend, she was so friendly and fun. All the food we had was so tasty and there was a lot of it so it for sure filled us up. And all the staff at each stop were also so friendly and inviting. Just overall a wonderful experience!
