      My partner and I took a day excursion from San Jose to La Fortuna waterfall, the hanging bridges, and a hot springs resort in the Arenal Volcano area. Our tour guide Hayro was extremely knowledgeable and did an excellent job of guiding us through these beautiful places, informing us of what we were seeing (as well as the history), and pointing out animals and creatures we never would have been able to see without his assistance. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend!

      I highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Yorleny was professional, friendly, fun, knowledgeable, cautious driver & was very considerate of our needs. She picked us up on time from our SJO hotel. We truly enjoyed the sights … small rural towns, mountain views, Arenal Volcano, waterfalls, hanging bridges in the cloud forest, animals (sloths, monkeys, snakes, birds, pizotes, etc.), and relaxing thermal pools. We had an excellent experience. This tour is a great way to learn about and explore the amazing costarrican nature and wildlife.

      Overall we loved it We ended up being lucky as it became a private tour and there was no rain It was a long day but the final spot was the thermal spa so we could relax Our 6 year old daughter enjoyed the Fortuna falls and hanging bridges Food was good and the guide was friendly n chatty 😊

      Hot springs & rain forest

      Lenny was amazing! For breakfast we got to feed the rain forest birds plantain and capture beautiful photos. Then we went to the waterfall and swam. After that we went to the hanging bridges. Along the walk our tour guide told us all about the wildlife. The hot springs were fr best. You can choose from 5 different pools with various temperatures. My favorite part was the water slides at the resort. Lunch was amazing as well.

      Best tour we did by far

      This tour was my favorite of the 4 day-trip tours we did. Our tour guide Hayro was incredible. He was very knowledgeable and eager to share. I saw so much wildlife and learned a ton about Costa Rica, from nature to culture to politics to tourism. I got to swim in the La Fortuna Waterfall (after walking down 523 stairs!), then received the most informative tour of the hanging bridges park. Hayro was able to call birds and frogs over for us to see, showed us close ups on his telescope, and provide insider information that other tourists weren't able to get. We then enjoyed some time in the mineral spas, which was very relaxing after the hiking. Bonus at the end when the clouds cleared and we got a perfect view of the Arenal Volcano from the hot springs. I hope to receive another tour from Hayro on a future trip to Costa Rica!

      We so enjoyed the wonderful forest and flowers when visiting the Hanging Bridges. A real plus was our seeing a monkey, a Tucan and other birds. Lenny was so knowledgeable and took such good care of us.

      Arenal National Park day trip

      First off, our guide Hayro was amazing. With 25yrs of experience of guiding in Costa Rica, his knowledge on the country was impeccable. What I didn’t love about this day trip, is that it was a REALLY long day of commuting in a full vanload of 10 people with a vehicle that could really only fit 7-8 comfortably. We were first on @ 6am and did 1.5hrs of driving and pick ups before beginning our 3+ hour commute to Arenal national park. We then hit an extra hour of traffic on the drive due to the weekend volume. Our first stop, La Fortuna was definitely worth the stop, but I was disappointed at how busy it was. Our walk through the hanging bridges in Arenal was beautiful, but because it was rainy, we didn’t see very much wildlife besides the many species of ants. The final stop at the hot springs was actually my favourite part of the day - relaxing, but once again, super busy. I know a lot of these things (traffic, weather, #’s of people) are out of the tour operators/guides control, but I know it is worth mentioning as our mode of transport would have changed if we knew these factors beforehand. I think this tour is overpriced for being a group tour, and could use a few improvements to make it more comfortable.

      The cafe of the manha was very late and I didn't like it and after we passed on the plantation of coffee.The walk and mto run the dinner was bad.And due to the weather we didn't even see the vulcao, the thermas are reasonable.
