If you’re still wondering whether you should book this tour, just do it! I promise it will be worth every mile you travel and every penny you spend. Our driver and tour guide, Sebastian, was absolutely fantastic! Huge kudos to him for making this such a memorable experience. His attention to detail really stood out, from rotating the seats so everyone on the bus had a chance to sit in the front, to providing interesting and detailed explanations about every place we visited. Sebastian was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely made the experience better. A great guide can make or break a tour, and Sebastian definitely made this one worth it. Highly recommended!

A very good overview of the park with a very informative tour guide on a comfortable minibus. You get to see the geysers, including old faithful eruption, mountains, lakes, forests, open areas. It leaves early to time the eruption of Old Faithful. Any out door walking is on easy ground or walkways, very easy.

Long but highly enjoyable day. Make sure you do the Peles Castle tour, beautiful inside and out. Brasov was a lovely place to eat and wander around. Bran Castle,aka Draculas Castle, was great. Make sure to go to the garden to get great photos of it perched on the hill spooky👻🧛‍♂️! Vlad was a fantastic guide, funny, informative and very helpful. Went out of his way to arrange transport back to our Hotel, many thanks. Florien did a wonderful job driving. Highly recommend!!

An Amazing Day Exploring the Best of Transylvania

We had an absolutely fantastic day visiting the Libearty Bear Sanctuary, Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) and Brașov. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Romania and a great combination of nature, history and sightseeing. The Bear Sanctuary was a wonderful and moving experience. It was lovely to see the rescued bears living in a large, natural environment and to learn about their individual stories and the important work being done to protect them. Bran Castle was fascinating and definitely worth visiting. We really enjoyed exploring the castle, learning about its history and, of course, hearing about its famous connection to Dracula and Vlad the Impaler. The surrounding scenery was beautiful too. We finished with time in Brașov, which is a gorgeous city with a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed walking around the historic centre, admiring the colourful buildings and taking in the beautiful surroundings. Overall, it was a brilliant and memorable day trip and Alex our Guide was excellent. Each stop offered something completely different, and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Romania.

A Wonderful Day in Bulgaria

We had the most wonderful full-day trip from Bucharest to Bulgaria, and so much of that experience was thanks to our fantastic tour leader, Anna. Anna was absolutely lovely — kind, warm, attentive and incredibly informative. She shared so much about Bulgaria’s history, culture and way of life, but did so in such an engaging and enjoyable way. She was always happy to answer our questions, made sure everyone was comfortable, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our day special. It was a pleasure spending the day with her. A special thank you also to George, our excellent driver, who drove us safely and comfortably throughout the entire trip. He was professional, friendly and an absolute pleasure to have with us. The whole day was exceptionally well organised, enjoyable and stress-free. We came away with wonderful memories of Bulgaria and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bucharest. This was an excellent tour. We had 2 full days on this private tour with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide (Laura). On the 2nd day there were road closures due to a sporting event so Laura quickly devised an alternate route to make sure we stopped at other sites that were fantastic. We are very glad that we added this tour to the end of our river cruise. This was significantly less expensive than the cruise line's post cruise extension offer. We have used Viator on prior trips to Europe and we have never been disappointed.

Fantastic Day Out of the City

This day trip was perfect. We had a private car, although a little tight in the back. The castles were very interesting, lunch was fabulous and the walk through Braşov was fantastic. We hit traffic coming back into Bucharest, so we detoured through the mountains which had stunning views.
