Of the three excursions we did on our cruise this was by far our favorite. JJ was a fantastic guide who told us all about Roatan while we drove and was very helpful. The AJ animal exhibit was not very long but very entertaining. As other reviews have noted you are no longer allowed to hold the sloths due to law, but you can get up close and touch and interact with them and they are very engaging. Funny enough the guinea pigs were a family favorite and I have to admit they are really cute. The monkeys make for great photos as the climb all over you. Lastly the Macaws are great for a photo, but they do fly around and sometimes dive bomb you a little so if you don't like birds you might want to skip that. My wife and I love snorkeling so we were really excited about that part of the tour. Unfortunately our kids were a hot mess through that, no fault of the snorkel guides who were very helpful, but the little bit I got to see was some of the best snorkeling I've ever experienced. I would love to do it again and actually see all of it. I wasn't expecting much for the island beach club portion at the end, but it was really great. There is a bar with good food and a few small shops and $10 paddle board rentals (there were also jetski and kayak rentals). The beach was absolutely beautiful and we could have easily spent a whole day there. Overall the whole excursion was great and our guide JJ really made it exceptional. We are already looking at Roatan for our next vacation and hoping we can find a way to get JJ to take us around again.

Fantastic tour — Dilbert was a fantastic driver sand guide — so flexible and friendly. So wonderful to get to interact with the sloth, macaws and howler monkeys — great tour at the preserve too. Lots of fun interacting with the monkeys and macaw — and seeing and petting the sloth,

We had an amazing day today on our excursion. The guide (Adeliera? Forgot how to spell her name..but she drive a grey Kia car) was there to meet us at Gate 1. She made sure we chose a route that would get us fast tracked in the lines at the different stops. She worked with the different companies when we arrived to make sure we were taken care of. She suggested a restaurant when we told her we wanted more local cuisine. She even called ahead and they had our food ready when we arrived. Definitely recommend!
