Iceland's South Coast landmarks—Skogafoss Waterfall, Reynisfjara Beach, and Sólheimajökull Glacier—sit across a stretch of coastline roughly two hours from Reykjavik, connected by a driving route that requires a full day and reliable transport to cover properly. This private full-day tour handles the routing with round-trip hotel pickup from Reykjavik and a guide who adjusts the itinerary to your group's interests.

Bus tours of Iceland's South Coast run on a fixed schedule that rarely allows for more than a brief stop at each location—but Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach, Vík's coastline, and Dyrholaey's cliffs each reward visitors who can linger. This private tour covers all four at a pace set by your group, with no fixed schedule or other passengers to keep up with.

Come with us on an adventure and discover the wonders of the South Coast of Iceland. The South Coast is one of the most popular parts of the country for travellers. South Iceland is lined with countless natural wonders, including cascading waterfalls, volcanoes, glaciers, and black sand beaches.

Jökulsárlón sits a long drive from Reykjavík, making it hard to fit the lagoon and the south coast’s waterfalls into one day on your own. Stops at Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss break up the journey south, followed by the black-sand beach near the lagoon. At Jökulsárlón, walk the shore before a boat cruise among icebergs estimated to be 1,000 to 1,500 years old.

Venture to a rugged part of Iceland that many other visitors overlook—and discover some of the country's most extraordinary scenery—on this hassle-free, private tour from Reykjavik. Your destination is the otherworldly Thórsmörk nature area; explore tumbling waterfalls, active volcanoes, glacial lagoons, and more as you go. As a bonus, traveling by Super Jeep helps you access scenery that other vehicles can't get to.

While Reykjavik is full of great things to do, getting out and seeing the scenery beyond the city is a must. This full-day South Coast small-group minibus tour includes hotel pickup and USB charging, making exploring easy and saving you the expense and hassle of renting a car. In one day, you’ll discover many of the region’s scenic highlights, from volcanoes and basalt columns to beaches, glaciers, and waterfalls.

On this intimate small-group adventure from Reykjavik, you'll marvel at the raw power of Eyjafjallajökull, stand beneath the mystical cascades of Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, venture into Thorsmork's hidden valley, and experience Solheimajokull's ancient ice—all with a guide lighting the wild way.

This is more than a South Coast tour, it's one of the best ways to see some of Iceland's greatest wonders in a single day. In one full-day trip, you will visit two of Iceland's most famous waterfalls, walk one of the most famous black sand beaches in the world, and stop in a small fishing village with landscapes that give you a real feel for how Icelandic fishermen lived generations ago. Just when you think the day is winding down, you will arrive at Reykjaböð, a geothermal bathhouse tucked in a valley surrounded by mountains, the perfect place to relax and recharge in warm water before the drive back to Reykjavík.

Once you’ve seen the Golden Circle, the South Coast is a natural next step, though its sights are farther from the city. A private full-size SUV takes you to the Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, past Eyjafjallajökull, the volcano behind the 2010 ash cloud, and on to the Sólheimajökull glacier and a black-sand beach.

Embark on an epic journey along Iceland's wild southern coast, where thundering waterfalls and volcanic landscapes create nature's ultimate showcase. The opposite of a bus tour, you'll get a private guide and driver taking you to marvel at the towering Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss cascades, walk the mysterious black sands of Reynisfjara beach, and explore charming Vik. This private escape from Reykjavik promises unforgettable moments in Iceland's most dramatic settings.
