As all of our excursions are personalised, we like to inquire to the individual interests starting from the first contact to get a general idea and start planning a general idea of the upcoming visit. Upon arrival in the region and prior to the visit, we always propose to meet the guest over a nice glass of wine or a cup of coffee (our treat) to truly fine tune their experience to them. The excursion usually starts around 9:30 a.m. and will last about 8 hours. Once more, each visit is unique and can be based upon a theme such as landscapes and Heritage, Legends and Castles, Tastings at and Discoveries of the vineyards and Provençal markets, Art, literature, Crafts, Folklore and the Provençal, Occitan and Roman Cultures. As we are not a company, but a registered not-for-profit cultural association having begun our activities in 2004, our local members who volunteer to accompany visitors are passionate about the history, culture and language of the region.

A Seamless Day in Aix, Cassis & Marseille

My daughters & I had a wonderful time with Omar. He was a perfect gentlemen. After an espresso & croissant, we walked through the markets in Aix. This was nothing like we were used to. They went on for blocks with all kinds of vendors selling their merchandise & produce & more. During our walk, we saw the church & other sights. It was a very nice morning. Then on to Cassis where we saw the beautiful city from above on the cliffs. We made our way down to the city & were able to book a boat ride of the Calanques. (This is not included in the price of the tour & costs extra but we had requested to do this.) It was beautiful with the clear blue water & dramatic cliff formations. A little lunch and off to South Marseille. Omar took us on a scenic route & it was so pretty. We were able to go to Notre Dame de la garde & the palace of Napoleon before having to board our ship. Our day was very relaxing & we were able to see everything that we wanted to see and more! If you are looking for a nice relaxing day, this is your tour. However, this is more a driving tour than a “guided” tour. If you want to hear details about the history & various statues or buildings, you might want to book a different tour. Omar did explain about certain things & answered our questions but wasn’t like the guides on the buses who give lots of facts on their tours.

Skip the stress of navigating and hunting for rare parking spaces in these historic hillside villages. Our outstanding expert guide from Aix-En_Provence was Gregg. A small group van tour offers an intimate journey through some of France's most picturesque landscapes. We could easily chat with Gregg and and ask questions. Some of the most wonderful stops were: Gordes, Rousillon (multi-colored ochre cliffs feel like stepping onto an artists palette) and Lourmarin (nestled among olive groves and vineyards, this vibrant village offers artisan boutiques and a Renaissance castle). I traveled with my adult daughter. I chose a van tour due to our limited time in Provence and wanted to see as much as possible without the hassle of driving myself. Mission accomplished!

Awesome day!

We started with a wine tasting of Châteauneuf du Pape wines, and visited domains. The guide, I can't remember her name!, was very knowledgeable on wines, terroir, winemaking... It was very informative. In the afternoon, we started with Roussillon, then Pont Julien, Lacoste, and finished with Gordes which was absolutely gorgeous in the light at the end of the day. We got a lot of cultural and historical information.

Incredible day, breathtaking scenery

What an incredible day!! Could not fault anything about this trip. Communication prior to trip exemplary, pick up from port super easy. Denis was a lovely guide, caring, funny, knowledgeable and so helpful! The cars were clean and well maintained and perfect for this type of day trip. We didn't expect such spectacular scenery and loved everything about the day. Our 18yo and 20yo really enjoyed themselves and loved the breathtaking journey and towns. Cassis was our favourite. Please do not think twice about booking this once in a life time experience.

10/10 for our tour guide Susanna! She is was knowledgeable, friendly, and was excellent all around. It’s a long day, you do the wine tasting in the morning (9am), have a break back in Aix and then do the villages in the afternoon and back to Aix around 7pm. If you’re up for a full day, book it - you won’t be dissapointed. Van was clean, comfortable and air conditioned.

This tour guide deserves 10 stars! When our train was delayed, she went above and beyond by picking us up right at the station. It was an incredibly hot day, but she never lost her enthusiasm. She patiently shared wonderful information and gracefully waited while some of the ladies took endless photos. She made the whole experience stress-free and fun!

Magical views.

We travelled with Emmanuel to 4 hilltop villages - Gordes, Roussillion , Lourmarin and Ansouis. What a fantastic experience. We walked around the villages ourselves which was fine - 90 minutes each in the first two which were the biggest and busiest and then 45 minutes each in the other two. Emmanuel advised us what to look for and at in each village. His problem was parking the van because parking is difficult in these places- so he had to drop us off and then go a long way away and return to the designated pick up spot. He did a fantastic job and the day was brilliant - highly recommended.
