Meet your guide and small group in the center of Aix-en-Provence, and board your minibus. Your first stop is Lourmarin where you’ll have roughly an hour to explore the village that’s known as one of the prettiest in France.
From Lourmarin, you’ll return to the road, making a quick stop en-route for photos at Bonnieux, a striking village that seems to cling to the side of the Luberon. From here, it’s a short drive onward to Roussillon, the Luberon town famous for its ochre quarries and rosy cliffs.
After spending an hour in Roussillon, you’ll journey on to your final destination—Gordes. Probably the best-known village in the region, Gordes is instantly recognizable for its hilltop perch and views that lend themselves to panoramic Provence photos. Spend an hour here as you wish, then relax on the journey back to Aix-en-Provence.

This was a great way to cover a lot of ground in a short time, without feeling rushed. The villages visited are all quite distinct from each other, but all are simply gorgeous. Thomas was an excellent and entertaining guide. I highly recommend this tour.

I do not generally take tours but having decided not to rent a car , this experience ran by ‘à la française’ was a must . I was delighted at the small group of people - only 8- which made the day a delightful experience out of the city . Three villages, and enough time to explore each, and a professional tour guide who provided with all necessary information without overwhelming details. I do not hesitate to recommend !
Greg was great driver and guide., very informative. He also took pictures of us at photo stops. Lourmarin is cute town, Gordes is stunning g and we had glass of wine there. Rousillion was ok, nothing special. Recommend the tour. It is 6 hours
This was the perfect was to experience the Luberon Villages. Our guide, Corrine, provided the perfect combination of history and current events to explain the area. She was a delightful guide.

Greg was an excellent tour guide with great insight to the history of the three villages as well as the local wine, lavender and produce industries. The villages themselves are quiet but worth seeing if you are staying in the area. We recommend.

This was an incredible way to see Luberon and the neighboring villages. Our guide was awesome, she had a deep knowledge of each region we stopped at and added valuable background/context as we were approaching and leaving each of the villages. We went to Lourmarin, stopped at Bonnieux for a photo, then Roussillon, and finished up with Gordes. Was such a great experience and can't recommend enough doing this tour with our guide!

My husband and I took this tour and we started in Aix. Once we got to the first location, we grabbed lunch which took up pretty much our whole time in that town. I wish we could’ve spend at least and hour and a half here! Then we got the photo op and continued onto Roussillon. Our tour guide there wasn’t much to do there so we shortened this stop to 30 minutes. Then we continued to Gordes which is a beautiful little town on the hillside, but we only spent an hour here. I wish that since we only spent 30 minutes in the one town, we could’ve gotten that back in Gordes.
It was a nice van ride to all the locations, but the microphone is a bit loud. I think it would’ve been helpful if our tour guide could’ve given more history on each place.

We had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful environment of Luberon , our guide Corrine gave us an amazing experience, the drive to each village was comfortable and her knowledge of the area and landscape was so enjoyable to listen to and to learn so much about the history of Aix and the Luberon area. The villages were beautiful though extremely hot while we were there. The guide Greg was phenomenal, giving us interesting tidbits about the region and history while we were in the van. He left us to wander on our own for about an hour in each village, which was perfect.

It was beautiful in both areas! W had a very knowledgeable guide. Only negative was a winery we visited was without lights 🙁

Stopped at 3 different villages and we had ample time to roam and explore each one. We also stopped for photo opportunities at lavender fields and viewpoints.

It was a great tour! Very casual and less of a group activity once you are there which was nice. Our tour guide AD was AMAZING! Overall very easy, and convenient for what we wanted to do. Had a great time. Only thing is the van is kind of small and your packed in, it was a little toasty on curvy roads.

Fantastic tour to visit the mountain villages less than an hour from Aix. Our tour had 6 plus the guide and it was very comfortable modern transportation. Corrine, our guide, was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to spend the day with. We visited 3 distinct villages and had roughly an hour of free time at each which was enough. This is an amazing tour. Glad we did the half-day 6 hour tour as I feel it was enough.
If you haven't already called motion sickness, there are some winding roads in the mountains so consider having medication, but the road weren't too bad. Must do excursion!

We canceled more than 24 hrs before the trip because we found that windey roads made us made some of us nauseous. Although I have confirmation that we canceled, I’m being hassled to pay the cost .

My tour of the Luberon villages with Adrien was great. He was on time, provided the group with plenty of information, and made sure everyone felt at ease. I didn't feel rushed at all. Despite the rain, the villages were beautiful. The afternoon went by so quickly. I would definitely book another tour with à la Française and Adrien as a tour guide.

Had an amazing day discovering some of the villages of Luberon. Our Guide Adrien was fabulous. So friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We were given ample time to explore each village. He kept us on our toes by quizzing us on all things French. So much fun. Highly recommend.
This tour is basically being driven to multiple villages to explore on own. There was some good information provided on the way to the villages, but no guide in the towns. The villages visited were wonderful.
