Our guide Michal was very knowledgeable and engaging as he walked us through all of the stops during the day. We really enjoyed our trip and would recommend him to anyone looking to take a day trip from Prauge to see the silver mines and history of Kutna Hora!

A great way to see and learn Czech history beyond Prague. The fact that silver was found in and around this town gave Czech the wealth it needed to become and important European country. AND the Bone Chapel is so interesting!

My husband and I had a fantastic day with Anna. Completely private tour and she was so knowledgeable. We got to see some amazing sites and she had great local food recommendations. Jack was so great to spend the day with! He shared a lot of knowledge and even took the time to work our interests into the tour! We were especially glad to be traveling with Jack in regards of a train derailment in Kolin, which affected our plans getting back but he made sure we arrived back at Prague safely. We Did a private tour with Petra
She picked us up from our hotel and we made our way to Kunta Hora together by train and bus
Petra was our guide
She explained the history behind everything we saw and answered all of our Questions
We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant and had an amazing meal
All in all it was a highlight of our trip .
Our Guide Petra was so easy to talk to , her English was amazing

We booked this tour for my wife’s sixtieth birthday. She loves scary movies and this caught my eye.
Originally, I was going to do this trip myself but she talked me into this tour and she was right.
Our guide, Anna, was very knowledgeable and fun. We are laid back people who like to have fun and the whole day was spent laughing, talking and sharing. She was very knowledgeable and her style was to engage with questions as she went along instead of just repeating facts.
The Ossuary was 😵🤯. I can’t say it was cool or fun but it was incredible and one of the most feeling provoking places I’ve been. My wife loved it.
However, it was a small part of a long day of exploring, talking , eating and walking. Judy is claustrophobic and our planned visit to the local silver mine was nixed last minute.
Anna didn’t miss a beat and our lunch ( local hang out packed with regulars / good food) was a little more leisurely with a Chocolate museum added. Hot Chocolate there had both ladies smiling and giggling.
We visited two other churches with St. Barbara’s Cathedral being really good. Throw in a quick local wine shop pit stop and 🥰
Without Anna it would have been next to impossible to do the connecting trains and plan for the timeslot ( only 20 minutes in the Ossuary itself) on our own. Now that we’ve been there yes, but it was well worth it to let someone else deal with all the minutia while we just chilled and enjoyed the day.

Our first day trip outside Prague was unforgettable, thanks to our amazing guide, Petra! She brought Kutná Hora’s rich history and stunning sights to life with her stories and insight. Just as valuable, she showed us how to master Apple and Google Maps — a lifesaver for exploring Prague and the rest of the Czech Republic on our own!

It was an excellent trip to Kutna Hora guided by an excellent guide, Anna. She was very knowledgeable not just about the sites visited but also of the local and national history. She is very passionate about her work and her country. Best tour guide ever!
The trip required transfers from tam to train to bus and a lot of walking. It was part of what made this a special experience. Lunch at a local restaurant and at the. Chocolate Museum were cherries on top.

Our guide Mike was wonderful. The transport was easy and the his knowledg was really impressive.
In my opinion, If you are over 6 ft tall or over 200 lbs, I recommend thinking twice about going into the mine. I am both and although it was certainly "ok", we came out sweating hard. I will fondly remember the experience as tough but very interesting.

This was a wonderful way to explore all that Kutna Hora has to offer! Our tour guide Anna was just amazing and made the day so much fun! She met us at our hotel and from there we went to the main train station in Prague for our train to Kutna Hora. Anna was so friendly and gave us great information about Czech history and the history of Kutna Hora. She had all of our tickets for the train and bus already paid for, so we didn't have to do a thing! We saw two important churches in the lower town of Kutna Hora before going up to the old town. She took us to a great place for lunch and then we did the tour of the silver mine, which was really cool! After that she gave us a tour of the magnificent St. Barbara's Cathedral. We had about half an hour to explore and shop before getting out 5 pm train back to Prague. The day flew by and it was well worth the price for a private tour. Highly recommend this to your for anyone who wants an in-depth experience!

We had an amazing guide named Martin who picked us up at our hotel and showed us how to use a tram and the train. It was just my husband and I so i feel like we had such a great experience because there was total one on one information and he answered every question and was full of information. Every place we stopped at was better than the next. I would highly recommend this tour and Martin.

Jack/Honza was such a great tour guide! He's super friendly and cater to everyone's needs. Jack is very knowledgeable of Czech Republic's history overall instead of just Prague and Kutna Hora. We love how Jack in the beginning of the trip told us how the whole day was going to play out and that we should tell him anytime we needed a break or so. He provided us so much history information that left us in awe and towards the day, he quizzed us and we passed! Haha. Also, the lunch spot we went to had amazing drinks and food. Overall, the tour was such an amazing time and it was definitely a great idea to do to get away from the busy crowds of Prague for a day.

Best day trip experience we have had on our recent European tour. Jac our guide was amazing. So knowledgeable and passionate about Czech history and easy to engage with. Lunch was amazing as was the tour of the silver mine, which is a must do if you are not afraid of the dark.
