Private tour of Prague
Václav picked us up at our requested location right on time with an umbrella in hand. Despite the rain, he adjusted the tour to the weather and drove us all around Prague until the rain settled down. He accommodated my mother who cannot walk fast or long distances. He was very knowledgeable about the history, answered all of our questions, and had a great sense of humor. Václav was the perfect guide for us and this 4-hour tour was a nice introduction to our first time visiting Prague.

Day trip to Kutna Hora
We had an all day private tour with Anna from Prague to Kutna Hora. We left our hotel a little after 8 AM and returned to the Prague train station around 6:30 PM. Even though we had rain most of the day, it was still a wonderful experience. Anna is a walking history book and is incredibly knowledgeable, personable and enthusiastic. We really enjoyed our day with her and learned so much about Kutna Hora, Prague and the Czech Republic. She was even kind enough to help us figure out everything related to our train journeys through Germany in our days to come. We picked this day trip to see the bone church, but, happily, saw that and so much more. We also did the silver mine tour and learned how important the mining was to the area. We could not have made this trip on our own. Anna had all our tickets, handled our travel on the busses and trains and found us a nice place for lunch. We did have to go to 4 different restaurants to find a table for lunch. It would have been nice to have had a reservation in advance. Kutna Hora is a beautiful and extremely interesting place. I highly recommend taking a day and checking it out.

A perfect bespoke experience in Prague
Dagmar - our guide was wonderful! She sat us down at the start to discuss what we might want to see. Then she formulated our tour and then led us primarily through Old Town. She explained the history of Prague to help us understand and appreciate what we were seeing. She answered all of our questions. Dagmar’s English was very good! Her Art history background gave us a sophisticated view of architecture and public art. And when she was done, she sat down with us again to answer further questions and help us to map out our next several days. The map she gave us was extremely useful (more so than the map given to us by our hotel). We recommend her highly!

A brilliant overview of the intersection of history, art, war, and politics thru the lens of art and architecture
This was not a superficial “look at these pretty buildings” tour. This was a master class in history, politics, artistic influence, and world politics of the 18th thru 20th centuries taught by a multi lingual phd professor of Slavic studies. Zlatina gave so much information and so much context i felt a tad guilty for not already knowing more… like I was back in college and had not done the assigned reading. But not in a “you’re in trouble” kind of way, but more of a “this is so great I wish I could be asking better questions right now to get more details”
