About 1 hour after you're picked up in Porto, we will start to discover wonders on small hikes, admire waterfalls, bathe in crystalline waters and even get a Kartcross or Water Bike experience (optional). This tour is drawn for travellers that are short on time or don't want to dedicate a whole day on a guided tour, but still want to get a tease/experience on the only portuguese National Park - Peneda/Gerês. Including travel times, this tour will take 6 hour of total lenght. You will get nature walks, nature sightseeing, waterfalls and lakes, and the oportunity to get a land or water sport experience.

Expect uneven terrain, steep descents and ascents, and occasionally slippery sections. Hiking poles are available free of charge upon request. It’s a balance of movement and stillness — an active coastal hike followed by time to swim, relax, and enjoy a light picnic at a secluded Atlantic cove. You start the tour with a fantastic one hour walk along the enchanting "levadas", irrigation channels built hundreds of years ago. The walk alone is an experience in itself and you can enjoy a pleasant walk in the forest and across the village where apples are grown. Camacha Sideri produces some of the finest cider available in Madeira. You will learn more about how traditional cider is made and you will get 3 tastings, followed by the most delicious lunch served in the restaurant of the estate. Apparently Madeira has been producing Cider for more than 500 years. The juice and cider producer has won a number of awards, both nationally and internationally, because so far no one has ever produced cider this quality in Madeira before.

We will look at the birds present on the lagoon. It is a great place to see a good diversity of waterfowl.

The activity starts with an early pick up and a transfer to Achada do Teixeira. From there we start a 45 minutes walk to Pico Ruivo. In plain dark, using a headlight, we absorbe the dazzling sounds of the night at the mountains. Once at Pico Ruivo we attend the amazing sunrise ever... After the sunrise we do the same way back but this time we will have the sun as a guide and the views will be amazing. After the Hike we will show you some view points.
