The history behind the mounds and monoliths of El Caño is as intriguing as that of Stonehenge in England. However, a number of clues at Panama’s first in-situ museum have given archaeologists a partial picture of one of the most prosperous pre-Columbian, Native American cultures. Covering an area of eight hectares, El Caño Archaeological Site (which bears the name of a tiny community located 176 km south west of Panama City) was discovered by accident in the 1970’s when the tractors and bulldozers of a sugar cane milling company unearthed a number of pre-Hispanic artifacts. After almost a decade of excavations and studies, archaeologists discovered a large number of mounds surrounded by a circular row of huge stones. Amazing Tour!

What an amazing tour! We were so happy we chose this tour. Pick up time was clearly communicated and right on time. There was so much packed into the day-great boat ride with lots of animal sightings, an amazing visit to the locks and we were able to see 2 different ships go through. Fort San Lorenzo was also very neat to see. Lunch was delicious, and we were constantly being offered cold water. We had lots of time at all of the stops and never felt rushed. Our tour guide John was amazing!!I really can’t say enough about how helpful and informative he was, as well as entertaining! He took such good care of us. Loved this tour and 1000% recommend!

Visiting the Panama Canal was an unforgettable experience. The tour was incredibly well-organized, informative, and worth every minute. Watching massive ships pass through the locks up close is something you really have to see to believe . It really gives you a whole new appreciation for the scale of engineering and global trade. Amazing catamaran experience

We had such a great time on the catamaran tour to Taboga Island! The catamaran itself was beautiful, and the entire experience from start to finish was nothing but fun and good vibes. The hosts onboard were amazing—super lively, energetic, and knew exactly how to keep the party going. They played great music, danced, sang, and really made sure everyone was having a good time the entire ride. The open bar was a huge plus, and the drinks kept flowing as we enjoyed being out on the water. When we stopped on the island, we grabbed fresh pineapples filled with rum for about $8, which was such a fun and refreshing treat. We also tried some food from a local spot, and it was really good—definitely worth it. Between the fun atmosphere, great hosts, open bar, and the beautiful views of Panama City from the water, this was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking to relax, have fun, and enjoy the scenery all in one trip!

Everyone who travels to Panama should do this trip.

Even though if started really early it was totally worth it. The drive from our hotel was pleasant, our driver was on time. Panama has some nice landscapes throughout the drive..the boat ride was good and I felt safe, the waters on each stop was so blue, crisp and clean and we saw so many different fishes and we some huge star fishes. I recommend it to anyone visiting Panama.

A great experience and highly recommended! Jenny was a great guide. She had great knowledge of the wildlife, the area, and answered any question we asked. The whole crew was pleasant and we could not have been in better hands. They all made for a great experience from being picked up at the hotel to being dropped back off. Could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Oh, and the monkeys were pretty awesome as well!!

Wonderful time

This was an entire vibe and a great way to party safely! It was so fun the music was diff in all the clubs it was lit and fun. Now transparency the drinks ain’t it I had a total of 10 shots that night and was no where near faxed and I am not a drinker! I would advise just drink the free stuff don’t pay for liquor cake it’s watered down compared to the hotels but the tour guides were so much fun and kept accountability of everyone!
