A Must Do Excursion For Adventure Lovers

This was a great multi-activity excursion that I would recommend for those who like to hike and engage in other outdoor activities. We started off taking a nice ride down river to the starting point in a wooden canoe. We then conducted a moderate hike to the waterfalls and got ample time to swim and take pictures there. After that, we got a chance to kayak down the river a little ways before heading to the Embera village. At the village we were treated to a history about the Embera people, have a lunch of fried fish and fresh fruit, and participate in a dance with the local tribe people. Alci, our guide was fantastic throughout the whole day and really made the trip more enjoyable. He friendly, personable, gladly took pictures, and ensured we were taken care of. This was a full-day activity I would do again.

Exceptional!

We decided to book this tour on Day Two so we could get a strong understanding of Panama right away—and it ended up being the best decision. We explored downtown and learned the history behind the buildings, neighborhoods, and the people who make Panama so unique. Our guide, Juan Carlos, was exceptional. He truly made my family feel like VIPs, and by the end of the tour, we left feeling like part of the family. The Panama Canal was an absolute must-see, and we were also lucky enough to catch a festival hosted by Panama’s indigenous communities. Overall, this is a must-do tour!

Beyond expectations!

Beyond our expectations, our guide (Daniel) was incredibly knowledgeable and fluent in English and Spanish- he even gave us a song at the end! The boat trip across Gutan Lake was incredible, beautiful scenery and an up-close experience with the wild monkeys, along with other wildlife (crocodile, birds) It was also impressive to see the ships along the canal (again up close!)

A memorable experience

I had an amazing time! The crew members were so friendly and very interactive. The games were fun and educational. The line dancing was fun and hilarious. The food was good. The drinks were endless. The other travelers were all very nice! Everyone was just having a grand time. I would absolutely recommend this! This tour was very informative. We learned so much about the history of Panama. Carlos Suedoa was our tour guide, and he took us to the best gift shops for souvenirs. As part of our tour, we visited the Panama Canal and watched a ship pass in the lock. There was a lot of walking so be prepared, wear comfortable shoes, sunglasses and a hat! Carlos was very knowledgeable and he took time to give us information about the history of Panama and how it relates to the current state and future of Panama! The tour was excellent and I would recommend this for first time visitors as well as anyone who wants to learn about the country and history of Panama.
