We did the Casco Viejo Hidden Gems tour with Alex. He was very knowledgeable about the area, and included the whole history of the area over the course of the tour. There are many shops and restaurants in the area, this tour was about historic landmarks and things you may not think to go and see. I would very highly recommend taking this tour with Alex!

Had a great time during this fun and educational tour led by an excellent guide, Manolo Ruiz from Boquete! Operator clearly communicated pickup time the night before tour. Clean bus with excellent air conditioning arrived right on time at pickup spot, where we were personally greeted by Manolo. While making few additional stops to pickup others, we saw downtown Panama City. Our group was small, only 12 ppl which was great. Manolo shared lots of knowledge about the history of Panama Canal en route to Gamboa, where we boarded a small boat to sail to Monkey Island. Manolo is very experienced with wild life and always knew how to get the animals to come out. We saw a sloth, 3 types of monkeys, bats, and iguanas. Highly recommend choosing this tour over similar others available!

The tour was full of emotions and unforgettable moments. We saw three different types of monkeys; two of them were very friendly and even jumped into the boat. Iguanas and bats were an unexpected bonus. Unfortunately, we did not see any sloths, but the tour was absolutely worth it anyway. Overall, it was a great experience that I would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Tour Guide and Dedicated Service To Your Pace

I had a wonderful guide named Carlos. I enjoyed having an insight and a first time experience learning about the city of Panama along with the Panama Canal. I enjoy the couple of points of interest we had and the time we were allowed to spend at each point. I highly recommend this tour if you would like to be in a relaxing environment and no rush and especially if you would like a private tour all for yourself and your group. I enjoyed it really much and I highly recommend you to try it for yourselves.

Absolutely loved this trip. Registering to checking in, to the 6 hour exersion was all easy and fantastic. We had a great day- sunny beautiful day. Great to escape the city. The crew were all helpful, nice and obviously loved their jobs. Drinks were good, lunch was delicious (salad, stew chicken, lentils/rice, macarooni, fruits)!!! They stopped for 20-30 mins if anyone to jump off the cataman to cool off in the water. The music was upbeat and created a perfect setting. Checking out Tobago Island for 2 hrs was nice- loved the pina colada and checked out an old church. I would 100% do it again. Thanks for showing us a great time!

From the moment the tour began, he was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly engaging. He explained the fascinating history, engineering, and operation of the canal in a way that was easy to understand and enjoyable for both adults and children. His passion for Panama and its history was evident throughout the tour. He patiently answered all of our questions, shared interesting facts and local insights, and ensured that everyone in our group felt included and comfortable. The timing of the tour was perfect, allowing us to witness ships passing through the locks while learning about one of the world’s greatest engineering achievements. What stood out most was his warm personality and genuine care for his guests. He went above and beyond to make sure our family had a memorable experience, helping with photos, recommending local attractions, and making the entire day seamless and enjoyable. Running My Fingers Thru Panamá's Locks

The tour was all I had hoped it would be! I remember reading about the Gaillard Cut (aka the Culebra Cut) back in elementary school. To cruise through this monument to human endurance and engineering ingenuity was a thrill. It was equally thrilling to enter the original hundred-year-old locks, sharing the chambers with a gigantic oil tanker as we descended in stages from Lake Gatun to the Pacific Ocean. The staff was friendly and the bus and boat were very comfortable. My only complaint is that the check-in process was hot and hectic. I got there quite early to myself time to find the check in spot (which turned out to be fairly easy. It's a small office-like kiosk outdoors, next to the big Panama letters.) But no one was there until 15 minutes before the check-in time and no check-ins were done until 5 minutes before the check-in time. In the meantime, travelers must wait in an area with little seating and less shade. However, once that was done, you can enter the air-conditioned bus. So, all was soon well.
