What are people saying about Normandy

Great D-Day Tour
This was a great day tour. Boy is very knowledgeable and obviously a lifelong learner. He will not talk your ear off, he’ll calmly guide you and answer questions, then bring up stories he has learned or been told by vets. My husband has done some reading so had plenty of questions—it made for a rich experience. Bring water with you, it’s a long day with a nice stop for lunch, but wished we had water with us!

Great Small Group Tour of Mont St. Michel!
We had Arthur as our tour guide of Mont St. Michel and he did an excellent job of giving us the historical background needed to fully appreciate our visit to the site. His knowledge of Mont St. Michel and the surrounding countryside was truly astounding and he really made our visit very interesting. It is an amazing place to visit!

History
Great tour with Thierry… first half was Normandy beaches and cemetery, second half followed “easy” company to many sites which overlord has exclusive access only. T is very knowledgeable and thorough and a great guide (and driver). Incredible to see and be at places with history. He has old photos of the troops at the exact spots you visit. Timely pickup and drop off (8:20-5:20).

We really enjoyed this tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate, which made for an incredible experience. We really felt like we saw it all. Would recommend this experience for people who are seeking a very detailed and informative WWII tour.

World War II history, UNESCO-listed monuments, Belle Epoque beach resorts, and medieval cities: Normandy has it all, and you’ll only scratch the surface of what this region offers on Normandy day trips. With just one day, focus your explorations on a particular area or sight, whether visiting France’s most famous island monastery, following the path of Allied soldiers at the D-Day beaches, or hopping between the picturesque coastal towns of the North. Normandy is close enough to Paris to be a day-trip destination, but you’ll be able to see even more if you start from Bayeux or Le Havre.
