Easy meeting point....
Easy meeting point. Clean, comfortable bus service. I was a bit disappointed with the tour guide. While she was very nice shared no info about the country or the places we have been to. I have been on similar tours in different countries and usually the guide gives info about the country and places we see. This was more like “we are here, you have x amount of time to explore”… otherwise uneventful bus ride…

Enchanting Mt.Fuji.
Relaxing, and fun new experience. Our tour guide Chen speaks fluent English and Chinese, manage time well based on weather condition. Our trip went smooth and arrived back to point A safe. The bus was clean and well maintained.

It was a great experience! Had so much fun! Even though we did not see Mt Fuji we still had fun. Chen, our tour guide is so nice!

It was a rainy day, but...
It was a rainy day, but the bus left on time, and our guide, Mitsuko, was very informative, entertaining, and helpful. If she could make the rain and clouds disappear, she would, just so everyone could see Mt Fuji. Despite not seeing Mt Fuji, the rest of the sights were great, and the drive was smooth and uneventful.

Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi (Kawaguchi-ko) in the morning.
  • It’s easy to plan a last-minute trip to Lake Kawaguchi, thanks to multiple public transportation options from Tokyo. The lake’s extensive attractions and amenities also make it ideal for families with kids.

  • Capture photos of Mt. Fuji from the north shore of Lake Kawaguchi, behind Chureito Pagoda in Arakurayama Sengen Park, and from Oishi Park.

  • Wear sturdy shoes if you’re planning to hike Mt. Fuji, as there can be areas with loose rocks and uneven ground. It gets cold at altitude and there’s limited shade, so bring sun protection and layers.

  • Bring cash to use on the mountain huts on Mt. Fuji; they offer snacks, pay toilets, and basic accommodation.

  • Day tours from Tokyo typically last around 10 hours.
